Not sure I am impressed with coverage.
With what I am told my cat can not get anymore care that Nationwide will cover only another 1,200.00. If costs is more than that not sure if it is worth me paying in for years and still can not get complete treatment.

Peace of mind!
I love having Nationwide Pet insurance, it give me peace of mind not having to stress over unexpected vet bills. I have nationwide on all my dogs and have recommended it to several friends. The ease of claims and the speedy return from the claims is great. You do have to be out the total bill for a bit, but at least they reimburse you back the portion covered.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been honest, fair, and fast.
I have no complaints about our pet insurance. Quite the opposite. Our current Airedale has had some problems as he has aged, and Nationwide has covered many of his treatments. They have done so honestly, fairly, and quickly. Our policy is well worth the money. We began with our pet insurance policy when it was known as VPI, about fifteen years ago with a previous Airedale.

Amazing service
I'm sitting here in tears, because I just got confirmation that Embrace is covering disc compression surgery for my precious dog Benny. I can't rave enough about the prompt, compassionate, honest customer service this company has given me over the past 3 years I've had my dogs covered by them. Like other insurance companies, I kind of expected the usual run-around, bureaucracy, and disappointments, but it's been the opposite with Embrace. If only all of my other insurance companies were so reliable. Thank you Embrace; you've taken a huge weight off my back.

Great Company To Work With
We have had Trupanion for 8 years for our dog and 5 years for our cat. Our premium for the two of them is currently $113/month (goes up every year). For the past 2 months, our cat has had a severe medical problem requiring critical care, blood transfusions, bone marrow biopsy, a feeding tube, numerous lab tests, numerous meds, special diet, and he was recently put back into Critical Care yesterday for an infection of his feeding tube. Things are not looking good.. So far the bills have run approximately $17K and Trupanion has paid his claims promptly. The first claim usually takes awhile since they have to get the paperwork and info from the vet, etc., but since then our claims have been processed very quickly. No, they don't pay for exam visits (including our CC dr. visits which are $125) or taxes (here in MI 6%), but without this insurance we would have had to put him down two months ago. Like I said, things are not looking too good today, but at least if we have to make a decision to euthanize, at least it won't be due to cost. They have been supportive and kind when communicating with them. Can't ask for too much more than that. I would also recommend that people look into CareCredit; they have a six months/year same as cash for veterinary care.

No surprises! Quick turnaround
We have a Golden Retriever, four years old. She had a tumor removed from a tonsil a few months ago. Huge vet bills. Trupanion took those "huge" costs down to minimal for our out-of-pocket payments. It honestly made our dog's surgery and life beyond possible. Fair, honest, and quick reviews of all of our claims. No surprises at all. She's still with us and doing great. Thank you to all at Trupanion.

Keeping my dogs healthy has never been easier!
Nationwide insurance has helped me afford better care for my rescues. The premium plan helps them get preventative care such as prescription to prevent heartworms, ticks and fleas. To date, I haven't had issues with my claims. Highly recommend!

Thank God for Pet Insurance
I have 3 pets covered by Nationwide and it helped alot. The vet can be expensive so knowing I will get money back is wonderful. My youngest probably wont even make his deductible so I will lose money on him but Baci and Bagheera have been blessed by this plan.

Sometimes worth it so.sometimes not
I've spent over $750 already for allergies plus$40/month for insurance and just reaching deductible now seems like a bad deal. You say you cover "the unpredictable". Not if it's called "exam". Even by a specialist/dermatologist referral. Couldn't plan for this. Makes one question is this insurance really worth it.

Wow, buying Nationwide pet insurance was one of my best decisions!!!
As I said above, buying this insurance was the best decision ever! When Luna got into trouble, we didn’t hesitate about paying for the emergency surgery to save her. When I sent in the claim, I really had no idea what was covered and how much we would get back. I did the happy dance when the check come in! Luna was home and going well and the $3000.00 was covered. Couldn’t have ask for a better ending! Thank you, Nationwide!!!
