Great so far!
Have had Healthy Paws for 2 months now (for 9 month old puppy) and couldn't be happier so far! Everything has been exactly as advertised and it's so great to have the peace of mind just in case!

All has been pretty good over the years even though we had one claim that was not paid even after previous claims for the same problem had be paid. That didn’t seem right at all. We are really struggling right now as we just got Lilly’s new premium notice & it skyrocketed in price. We are debating now whether to keep the coverage or not.

Easy & Fast Turnaround
I've been with Nationwide for over a year now. Ethel was a stray when we adopted her 3 years ago. She is so loving and playful. We fell in love with her the moment we saw her. As a stray, we did not know how long she has been out there. The only health problem we have come across is her bad dental hygiene. We were afraid to put her under to have a through teeth cleaning due to a heart murmur and the outrageous cost. With Nationwide Pet Insurance, it put us at ease to know that we will be recovering some of the cost and finally made the decision to do it. She did amazing even with 7 extractions. Thank you Nationwide!!!

Best decision I’ve made is to get pet insurance
Love Figo! Best decision I ever made. I have 2 diabetic cats. I never would have been able to get them the best possible care without pet insurance. Insulin is so expensive, but I’m able to manage with this insurance. Filing a claim is super easy.

Seems like the per-illness deductible is shady
I paid for a deductible of 250$. I was never told it was per-illness until I had a claim of over 500 dollars. Of course it's my fault that if I dig through the website, I'll find the term per-illness. On the other hand, because none of the illnesses my cat has experienced were over 250....each....trupanion gets to say they wont cover ANY of the bill. It's an unfair practice, and I will NEVER use them again. Also if you need something like dental, which my cat will, make sure you read what they dont cover. Which is of course the expensive stuff. So trupanion hope you are happy with the money you got from me, because you will not see another dime.

My vet suggested you but won"t again!
I think doubling your rates is ridiculous and I'm dropping your insurance. I think a lot of other people will too. My dog's medical care will be less for the year without any insurance than with yours. I know we were at the high end of medical expenses so I'm not at all sure this change will really apply to all of the animals you insure. Also my dog is an English Lab and you don't even have her breed lister. She is very different than an American Lab!! Judi Snyder
