Horrible company!
Horrible company!! Period I will continue to write as many bad reviews as possible. They owe me a credit of $125. The idiots credited back my money to another customers card... They acknowledge their error and will not correct it. Customer service is rude and ultimately threatens to cancel your policy.... They know they have you by the balls. Threatening to cancel your dog as they become older is their threat to keep your mouth shut.....

Pets Best IS a wonderful insurance
"It was not an easy decision to pick insurance for our young dog that we got 1 yr ago. There are so many different companies and reviews...bad and good. I called my vet and asked what insurance they found that their pet customers like best. And it was Pets Best Insurance. So I went on the site picked exactly what I wanted and I did get the "pricier" policy, but it included so much more! So the 1st time i was nervous submitting the claim online. . ..wow...super easy and within gosh maybe 2 weeks(maybe less) the amount owed to me what directly deposited into my checking account! Very happy with what I have for our now 3 yr old girl! "

Bait and Switch once you change over.
My monthly premium is going up $70 PER MONTH and nobody has been able to tell me why. They beat my prior insurance company’s cost, only to raise it significantly higher than I had been paying. It sounds like they’re trying to punish members for using the policy. I had two claims on a multi-dog policy and my premium is nearly doubled.

I have always been satisfied with…
I have always been satisfied with Embrace until I got my stray 8 wk old kitten in July.We took her to our vet the day after we got her. She was wormed and given flea and tic meds! I put her on our Embrace policy with our other two cats who are 8 yrs old!She was on long enough to be covered for an accident but not for an illness. We came home from church about a month after we got her and she could not put any weight on her leg! She was absolutely fine when we went to church! Since it was Sunday, we took her to the emergency vet! $700 later it was determined she had a soft tissue injury, nothing broken! We took her home and she was fine the next day, just limping slightly! Because no one witnessed what happened to her, Embrace said it could be a pre- existing condition and refused to pay! Before that Sunday, the kitten had no problems walking, nor has she been diagnosed with any problem to her leg since! Embrace has always been great with paying our other claims, but this one seriously fell through the cracks!!

I’ve been with Healthy Paws since 2017…
I’ve been with Healthy Paws since 2017 and insured my dog continuously for years. During that time, I submitted only a handful of very small claims — none of which ever exceeded my annual deductible. For most of the policy’s life, Healthy Paws essentially collected premiums without paying anything out. Recently, my dog had a legitimate health issue for the first time that actually resulted in a payout. Coverage worked as expected, which I appreciated. However, almost immediately after this first meaningful claim, my premium increased significantly (>230%). The timing makes it difficult not to feel like premiums stay reasonable only as long as you don’t use the insurance — and once you do, pricing adjusts sharply regardless of your long-term history or prior low utilization. I understand that pet insurance is risk-based and premiums can increase over time, but after nearly a decade of loyalty and minimal claims, the increase felt disproportionate and discouraging. It undermines the trust you build by paying consistently for years in case you ever actually need coverage. Advice to others considering Healthy Paws: Healthy Paws does pay claims, but be prepared for substantial premium increases once you file one that matters — even if you’ve been a low-risk, long-term customer. If you’re evaluating providers, look closely at how they handle premium adjustments after claims, not just initial pricing.
