Great pet insurance and easy to file a claim.
Filing a claim is very easy, it does take awhile for it to be processed. We find the reimbursements to be fair.

Review time takes too long
Review time takes too long. Also the annual premium raised from $189 to $270, that is a huge increase.

Metlife Pet Insurance is a must have with pets
I have been with Met Life Pet Insurance for 2 years now from day one after adopting both our cats. The rescue I adopted from actually recommends them. It has been a lifesaver financially as both cats ended up unfortunately having health issues later on. Submitting claims is easy, you can even submit from the app. Reimbursement is usually within a week, just make sure you submitt your payment receipt, the invoice, and the soap notes from your vet to avoid a delay. I have called maybe twice and have had great customer service. Also call over the phone to enroll for unlimited benefits as it is not an option if you enroll online. I found this out when renewing over the phone with a question and the agent told me about the unlimited benefits. It does cost more.

Wonderful representatives, additional online adjustments might be nice!
The only thing I wish I could do is make updates or changes to either my policy on the app, or see what adjustments would do to my monthly rate. Whenever I call your service representatives are always wonderful, I'm just an anxious person who hates making phone calls 😂

I am grateful that there has been quick review of the claims I have submitted. It's important to me that I can receive my money for having this insurance since I am on a fixed budget.

My ragdoll has coverage through fetch…
My ragdoll has coverage through fetch since he was just under one for the last 1.5 years. He had a bout of not eating and was taken to emergency. That bill was covered as expected, entire bill less the 20% co pay and deductible. Now this year his plan has increased 5-10$ per month and now with no warning they are not covering taxes. When questioned they said policy has not changed that his policy never included taxes and fees. That you could have chosen a different plan that covered taxes. Bullshit. There was no option for that to be covered. I chose $10000 coverage at 80% and $250 deductible. The only other option was to add a wellness plan. So now his $600 vet emergency is only covering 150. But according to them I am crazy because his plan never had tax reimbursement coverage
