Thankful for Pet Insurance

The pet insurance has been a blessing. My dog has been on medication and has vet visits several times a year for many health issues. The insurance has helped her to get the best care. I do submit my claims by fax and I find that on several occasions, the fax is down so that has been frustrating.

Long wait to get money back

I had issues submitting my claim from my phone so I tried from my iPad and still had issues so I ended up having to do it from my computer. I no longer have a computer so hopefully the claim submission process from a mobile device has been resolved. My biggest issue with my first claim is that it took almost two months before I received my money back. The site says most are done within 30 days. Another issue I had is that I was the one having to call in to check on the status. After the first few days of submitting my claim, I called in to make sure everything was OK only to be told I needed to submit more information. Had I not called in, I would’ve never known. If additional information was needed, I should have been notified by the company — it shouldn’t be up to the customer to call in and then be told. If it wasn’t for me calling in this claim probably would’ve taken even longer to get resolved.

They take FOREVER to process expensive claims

This company has no problem contacting you about your credit card expiration coming up but will drag their feet up to almost 1 month before they pay you. They say 10 business days but that is not the case. I was told that the premiums would not go up more than 5% per year but they have gone up up to 20% per year. They do not remember telling me the max would be 5%. They apologized and said the person selling me the insurance might not of known what they were talking about.

Furious with the lack of support.

I currently have a claim pending, which I've sent the information needed numerous times. My vets office has sent it 3 times and I've sent it 2 times now. I have not been called or emailed back when promised I would be, and every time I call, the answer is "we haven't recieved it, I will look into it" and then nothing happens. I am so beyond angry right now. It's been over a month now. On top of this, when my card expired at the end of last year approximately? I gave them my new credit card number several times. They kept trying to charge the old one, and I kept calling them back saying you can't, it's expired, use the new one I gave you. So far working with them has been aweful.

I can count on you

I have had pet insurance since 2000, and I have never been disappointed. You pay claims very quickly and with no fuss. I do wish it was easier to submit than having to mail. We used to be able to fax. However, that is a minor inconvenience. I have recommended your company several times.
