Healthy Paws has been very prompt in paying claims for our Basset/Pit Bull mix.. She has recently had surgery and Healthy Paws covered the expense. Their premiums are reasonable and their customer service is excellent.

Better than I ever expected
I didn't have high hopes when getting insurance, but decided to go with Healthy Paws because it seemed the best out of the 3 recommended by our vet and I am glad I did. Submitting claims is easy, response time is quick and they even wrote to check on my pup after an acute illness. Overall, better than any human insurance and I the monthly cost is reasonable.

Able to provide top notch care for my pet
My dog Bennie had broken two teeth shortly after I had signed up for the insurance. Working at an veterinary office I was skeptical about signing my own pet for insurance because I had seen what other companies did to clients for their claims process. Thankfully the claims process was simple and thankfully my pup was able to go to the dental specialist and have the teeth repair vs. having them extracted at the clinic I work at.

Healthy Paws saved my cat's life!
I signed up for Healthy Paws because my cat turned 6, and I figured it was about time for just in case. My friend recommended it to me - and it was one of the best suggestions I received ever! Shortly after, my cat got diagnosed with IBD, and he's been getting treated ever since. This was not cheap, but luckily with Healthy Paws, I could afford all treatments, vet visits, tests, and medications just fine. And the reimbursement is so easy. I submit a photo of the vet bill via their app, and they send me a wire transfer. Recently I had to take him to the ER and they thought he might have cancer... which was the most heart breaking news ever. Healthy Paws reached out to me and asked if my cat was doing okay. It was such a nice personal message and I was so grateful - I mean what kind of insurance company would ever do that! Thank you so much, Healthy Paws!

Affiliating with Healthy Paws was the second best decision I made, Mollie was the first!!!
Mollie had a ruptured disc that eventually caused her to stop walking, surgery was done immediately. Having a piece of mind with Healthy Paws meant so much to our familly. The immediate attention, caring people and reimbursement was everything that they said they would do and then some. Healthy Paws continued to check on Mollie to see how she is doing.

I wish that I had this insurance earlier and for other pets
I shopped 5 different pet insurances before I went with ASPCA. They had the best value for the coverage. It's not the cheapest, but that is because I needed more coverage for my senior cat. The claims are easy to file if you have an electronic receipt from your vet and they pay back claims with direct deposits or check. Super easy and efficient. Too bad human health insurance isn't this easy.

first claim made and it could not have been easier. left paper with vet and they filled it out, faxed it to them. got emails keeping me up to date on the status. got the check within 2 weeks i believe.

Couldn't be happier
My Shar Pei needed to get entropion surgery for his lower eyelids. Luckily we had already gotten insurance with Healthy Paws prior. After the surgery, filing a claim with Healthy Paws was so simple. I am so happy that Healthy Paws makes filing claims so easy! Having 2 Shar Pei, insurance is definitely recommended and I HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws!
