We have been using PetsBest insurance for our dog for over 5 years. The company’s app is super easy to submit a claim and response is usually given within a week or two. Also they have direct deposit for reimbursement to my bank account. The yearly premium has gone up every year and is considerable. But with the cost of an older dog with a chronic condition it truly is worth the money. Because you have peace of mind your pet can get the care they need without worrying if you can afford the treatment. Definitely recommend purchasing a policy before you need it because once your pet is diagnosed preexisting conditions usually won’t be covered.

When it came time to file a claim I was denied because I didn’t take my cat to a vet every 12 months. This insurance was initially set up for just in case purposes since we do not send our cats to the vets often, we are homeopathic pet parents. They gladly took my monthly payment but when filing a claim they found a technicality to not pay for the claim. It felt wrong since they never made me prove my cat was seeing a vet to start the policy in the first place.

Great experience to upload the vet bill onsite & quick review & response to providing the refund with 3 days. Very helpful to make sure you also include vet visit documents for fast & easy transaction. Otherwise there will be holdup on your refund.
