Overall very satisfied; however their app is glitchy
Overall, I am delighted with Pets Best and the process of filing claims and managing my pet's account. The main problem I'd love to see the company address is its app. It is not reliable; it's very glitchy when trying to submit claims, and it works 10% of the time. However, when using the website, it works 90% of the time. Once a claim is filed, Pets Best is pretty quick to process and apply the benefits.

I submitted my claim on line a few days later and found it to be quite easy. It just felt like the process to get paid took a while. I highly recommend people submit their checking info so they don't have to wait for a check in the mail. I highly recommend Spot Pet Insurance for anyone that is looking to purchase pet insurance in the future.

Took too long to receive payment
I received multiple emails about “we’re sorry it’s taking so long”. You don’t take long to take the payment out of my account every single month so I don’t expect it to take long to review my claim once I send it and put the money back into my account. We’re going on almost a month and that, in my opinion, is highly unacceptable. If it happens again, I will be switching to a new insurance.

Please fix your website
Pets Best used to be awesome. My 18 year old cat has so many issues but my claims were paid in a timely manner giving me peace of mind. However, for the last month or so, the online portal and mobile app do not work. You cannot submit any claims thru either of these two sites. Pets Best keeps saying they are "working on it" but this is really going on too long. Also, my premium went up $500 for next year. I get that my cats are getting older and vet bills are higher, so of course I will pay it but I wish I could submit my claims online. They have us emailing claims and then you never find out if they received the claims because they do not send any verification emails anymore. I'm sad that this has happened and I hope they fix it soon.

Worst than Nationwide Constant hassle for paperwork for first 6 month, a doctor receipt was never sufficient. Metlife does not cover anal gland expression.
