I am forever grateful a friend and fellow dog owner insisted and signed me up for pet insurance while in the Animal ER paying a $450 bill that day. Now Chloe is covered!

Fabulous turnarount time, very simple process!

I love how easy it is to submit and receive payment on claims. When I have had to call the staff have been super helpful every time. We’ve been delighted with Nationwide and are so relieved to finally have a diagnosis for our sweet pup.

Fast and Easy!

Couldn't have been easier! My dog got incredibly sick all of the sudden and spent to days at the vet while they tried to figure out what was wrong and get her stabilized. ASPCA pet insurance was asap. I submitted the claim via their app and they processed the claim within 3 days, and had the check to me early the following week. Given the large price tag on this particular incident I was extra grateful to ASPCA pet insurance for making the process so fast and easy! I've had the insurance for 4 years no and have always found them to be fair in covering costs outlined in the policy, and responsive, Would definitely recommend to others!

Great Company to work with!

Both of my doxies had to have mouth surgery and teeth extracted. It was a very costly procedure. I felt confident knowing my insurance would reimburse me for some of the cost. It's very easy to file a claim. My payment was received in a very timely manner.

Long wait for payment

I switched to Nationwide Whole Pet insurance from another policy for the more extensive coverage. However I was disappointed in the lengthy period for reimbursement on my very first claim. My previous policy, which I had for 2 yrs, always reimbursed within 2 weeks maximum, and my first claim with Nationwide, for a basic infection treatment not ongoing, took almost 2 months to receive payment...not very timely, especially when you have insurance in the first place to help cover expenses!

billing issues

I enrolled Magnus for Major Medical Plan in January, 2018 and opted for payroll deduct through my employer. I have one other policy for my dog, Buddy on payroll deduct and have been very happy with how easy the payroll deduct has worked for both Buddy and I. I had a past policy for two years for my dog, Clarisse on payroll deduct, and this was also a very good experience. My policy for Magnus, however, has been the worst experience. I have had to contact Nationwide 8 times to get this policy on payroll deduct. I have paid $132.97 in the past 7 business days to correct the underpayment on Magnus' policy due to the absolute and utter incompetence of staff managing Magnus' plan. I am so incredibly disappointed at Nationwide's complete failure in simply setting up one policy on the same payroll deduct I have had my other two policies on, and this still has not been resolved. Nationwide used to be such a great company to do business with, and now I absolutely despise this company. Shame on you, all of you.

You were very helpful. I received a polite email that my credit card had been declined. My account was hacked and used fraudulently so I had to get a new one. Your staff member was extremely pleasant and got my new card set up in under 5 minutes.

Best Decision EVER made!

Purchasing Nationwide insurance for my cat was the BEST DECISION EVER! We adopted Frankie from NAWS and while he had a few pre-existing conditions that i knew wouldn't be covered right away i did not expect him to develop a serious case of FLUTD, urinary infections, crystals etc. Poor thing had to be hospitalized and is on a special diet now which seems to be working. Approximately $2000 later i was thrilled to find out it was a covered expense! The whole process went so smoothly and payment was timely. Most people I tell this story to can't believe how well it went! Thanks Nationwide!
