Be sure to get the name of the condition being treated.
The only problem I have had was when the vet didn't put the name of the condition being treated on the invoice and I didn't know what it was. I submitted the claim with the DIAGNOSIS box blank. Don't do that because your claim will be rejected! However, the rejection notice has a space to enter the missing item and return for reconsideration.

This Insurance Pays!
Thank you for the prompt payment on our recently submitted claim ! Everything I have submitted has resulted in some reimbursement. So many times you wonder if it is worth it to get the insurance and the answer with this policy is YES!

Great response time on claims. Nice succinct emails.
I faxed another vet visit last Tuesday and I don't think it was received so I re-faxed the 2 pages today.

Claim Paid
Nationwide reviewed our claim (within a month - although it was closer to the 30 day mark) and paid it without any back and forth or question. Our 8 month old Golden Doodle swallowed a pair of underwear (without our knowledge) that proceeded to get stuck in his small intestine. when he vomited about 15 times within a 10 hour time span, we knew something was wrong. The vet required same day surgery and Nationwide saved the day be completely covering our claim (everything was paid for, even the cone and overnight stay with the exception of the special diet). Thank you!

Worst experience with insurance companies
We have submitted several documents, including screen shots from VCA of all payments made to the VCA for our pet Harley. Yet, we still have not been fully reimbursed from our insurance. Look at the documents, all the information is there. Every time I call, I get the run around. I would not recommend.

Overall good experience.
Quick turnaround. Like that I can be reimbursed electronically. Would LOVE to be able to submit electronically either via an app or email where I can upload/send digitized receipts. Sending faxes or via postal mail is very dated :(

I recently switched my Dogs from another Insurance Carrier
I had 4 dogs insured with another carrier and had very few claims paid. They found a way to make everything a pre existing condition. I was in the Emergency Clinic waiting room and another Client said how easy NAtionWide was and what peace of mind it gave her. I wasn't respecting to find a rock in my dogs stomach when they x-rayed her. She and her brother had broken into a can of dog food and I thought I was getting an xray for so I could sleep without worry, The Clinic filed the claim and very quickly I had money transfered to my checking. I have since added my 3 month old puppy and will continue to use them for my dogs and recommend then to friends!

Easy access
Easy to file a claim with the app. The turn around time to get a reimbursement check is about 10 days. Very happy with this insurance for our puppy.
