Best insurance ever

I have been a customer for about a year now. My cat recently torn her crucate ligament and healthypaws has been amazing. With quick claim process through phone app and fast turn around with reimbursement, I was able to afford the needed surgery and post care to get my cat to her prior playful self. With be a healthypaws customer for life.

Easy peasy claims process!

Wellness exam. Very easy to file, quick payment directly into my checking account within a few days. Claim filed online within a couple of minutes. Just snapped a pic of my vet bill and sent online. Easy peasy!!!!

Simply The Best

People may complain about the cost of pet health insurance but like most insurance plans you’re thankful they’re there when you need them. I rest easy knowing that Nationwide is there for my two precious babies should something go wrong, as it did recently. Our Persian cat needed oral surgery that cost well into the 1000’s after medications and post operative care and like most of these things, it came out of nowhere and would have been a financial nightmare if we didn’t have insurance. The process of filing a claim was easy and painless beginning to end and it’s a higher piece of mind knowing Nationwide will be there for our pets.

Thanks to Nationwide for helping us out!

Thanks for helping us out with a portion of our vet bills this year - every little bit helps and it makes me feel more secure knowing that I'll be able to recoup some money in the event my kitty gets sick or hurt. We love them so much and nobody should be forced to make a painful medical decision based solely on lack of funds. Between this insurance from Nationwide and a little kitty savings account fund I've socked money into from the time I got him, I feel pretty confident I'll be able to take care of whatever he may need in the future. The claims process was very easy (really my vet did everything for me, and they didn't complain so it must not have been too bad haha) and one day I got an email from Nationwide saying I had a deposit available waiting for me to claim it. I'll definitely keep this insurance policy for my cat as long as it remains available. I'm very thankful my employer offers this insurance as a benefit, otherwise I may have never really looked into pet insurance. Thanks Nationwide for your help and just how easy everything was to work with you!

Wow, I am so glad I got the well care plan for new puppy!!!!

I just got my 10 week old puppy, and new all the vaccinations, tests, heartworm, flea/tick meds, neutering and other things that a puppy requires in the first months would run a high bill, and I wasn't so worried about him being hurt or sick (unless heaven forbid he did get something that couldn't be predicted). I decided to take out both insurances, and went for the 2nd puppy visit. I saved so much money, even including the cost of both insurances, (only the few dollars for things like biochemical disposal that are now added to vet bills weren't covered), Microchipping was covered too. I literally got 72% of my money back including the one month insurance cost. For vet bill alone I got 88% back. The claim was accepted the first day I sent it, the money was back in my back account on the 3rd day after that. I cannot express how easy it was to file the claim, call and get information about the coverage before the insurance purchase. I looked at many plans, some having no well visit coverage at all, and compared to those that did offer it, this was the best price and had the most coverage for routine preventive things. Happy customer, healthy puppy!

A bit pricey, long wait for payment but overall a good investment if one has a needy pet.

I'm so happy I have pet insurance. This is my first dog and who knew all the things that can happen and do happen. My put was injured by the groomer and required four stitches and now she's got issues with her anal glands driven by seasonal allergies. The vet is recommending surgery ... ACK! My coverage with Nationwide has been pricey but I'm happy to know I have the added support if needed. I rated an '8' because of price and the time it takes to get payment. By the way, I've called the vet-line only once (my dog got into a Hersey Kiss and their response was go to the emergency vet. I don't know if I would call again because in my mind the delay to get through just took time from me getting my dog to the emergency vet. And, since this is my first dog, I'm not really sure what is or isn't an emergency ... of course, our fur babies just want to please and won't tell us if there is a problem, right?

Great Insurance!

PetsBest Insurance has been such a blessing for us with our 9 month old puppy. All claims are processed quickly and our payments even get direct deposited into our checking account! We have the wellness portion also so immunizations are even covered. I highly recommend this insurance for your pets.
