I am very happy with Embrace and would highly recommend it to any pet parent. Ive had it for all my 4 kitties for over 7 years now and nver had an issues with any of the claims. Two of the kitties have serious conditions , cancer and kidney failure , and having insurance literally saver their lives. It allowed us to provide them with the best treatments available. Embrace has very reasonable premiums , great coverage, and a very clear and easy to understand set of policies. Submission process is easy and the processing times is quick. Whenever I had to call , the customer services was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Best thing for my wallet I ever didi
I bought insurance for our 8 week old Olde English Bulldog puppy named Lunchbox. Best thing I ever did. He injured his front legs and Trupanion saved the day. Was a easy process we took our pup to our vet. We got pre approval for a set of very costly X-rays. The X-rays alone paid for the cost of the Insurance for years to come. The next step involved our pup getting his front leg bones shortened and this also was pre approved. The process was fast and easy. Side note we called our Vet before getting insurance and asked their thoughts on insurance companies they recommended Trupanion to us. To recap best thing I ever did for my wallet was this insurance.

Fast and easy to submit claims.
Our dog randomly started throwing up blood one morning. We had a new baby in the house and had no idea if the dog had possibly gotten in to something. We took him to the vet. He was in and out of there getting IV fluids and meds for 3 days due to pancreatitis. The claim was incredibly easy to file. I did it from my phone. Payment showed up about 2 weeks after the first vet visit. Couldn't have been any easier. I was really impressed.

Trupanion did not request invoices
I requested that my out of pocket receipts be reimbursed before facility (that we questioned the death of our girl with). Trupanion called the facility and requested actual invoices, but looking at our submission for same facility, trupanion did not request the actual invoices for what we submitted with our paid receipt. The facility is now going back on an invoice higher than what was submitted to trupanion and expecting us to pay more than 90% of the cost - It's insult to injury. They got paid on the invoice submitted, but we have to pay more than 10% and we can't get reimbursed from our out of pocket $847 when we clearly met the deductible...

I'm so very happy
I'm so very happy with this company. We have a 2 year old English bulldog needing expensive orthopedic surgery for an injury. There was never a question about the bill submitted and it was refunded very quickly. Any time I've called with questions, the representatives are informative and polite, answering all my questions. I have highly recommended Trupanion to many animal owners.

Filing was simple.
Filing was simple, and I received confirmation it was received. Then I was notified it would take a bit more time than normal. All of this was greatly appreciated and actually unexpected. Shortly thereafter the final decision was communicated- in my case applied to my deductible. I can't ask for anything easier.
