It is very helpful
Once claim is submitted, Trupanion immediately emails me with a detail of the amount that is covered and what I am responsible for. I always receive payment a few days later which is extremely helpful, especially having to pay upfront.

Excellent but claim payout takes a little long.
I would give Nationwide a 10/10 but they take about 30 days for reimbursement while other insurance providers pay out much faster. If they improved the approval process I would be a happier customer.

Top Notch Experience from Claims to Customer Service
I have the Pets Best "Best Wellness and Wellness" Plans. I had my 6 month old chihuahua spayed on Monday, 10/29/18. On Friday, 11-2-18, I got on my convenient Pets Best app which allows you to snap a pic of your invoice and upload it along with your claim. I did just that and it was super easy and so convenient! I love this app and how easy it is to navigate and submit claims or questions as well as gives you real time updates on the status of your claim(s). I got a confirmation of receipt the same day. The next Tuesday, on 11/6/18, I received an email stating the claim was processed and payment was already being electronically sent to my bank account! WOW! Talk about super fast....within 2 working days my claim was resolved! You can't beat that. Thank you for being so prompt in everything and for making the claims and reimbursement process so effortless. I am so pleased with Pets Best claims and customer service. My experiences so far have been excellent and I can't say enough about it. I highly recommend Pets Best to anyone who is really considering pet insurance.

Overwhelmed and very touched by Pets Best and their Customer Service Representatives
When I got a new puppy in June 2018, I started researching pet insurance due to the increasingly ever-changing prices of veterinarian care. I chose to go with Pets Best for my puppy and my cat. First of all, this review is regarding my cat. My policy was effective Sept. 11, 2018. The day before on 9-10-18, the day before my policy was effective, i was frantically trying to get my cat in to see a vet as she was extremely sick. Long story short the next day, the day my policy was effective on 9-11-18, i had to make the gut- wrenching decision to put my fur baby down. Needless to say, I was devastated. On 9-12-18 I called Pets Best customer service to cancel my cat's policy and remove her. I spoke with Bryn. She was amazing! When I told her about having to put my fur baby down she was so compassionate and caring , it felt like she went through the experience with me. She expressed her condolences to me in a way that I felt so comforted and that is pure gold to someone who has gone through an experience such as that...especially after having lost two other fur babies within 2 years! She assured me to not worry about anything and that she would take care of everything and would promptly remove my kitty off my newly purchased plan and i would be issued a refund within a few days. It was effortless on my part and the refund was in my bank account withing 48 hours. I was so impressed! A few days later I received a wonderfully sweet condolence card from the customer care department at Pets Best with all of their representatives names signed on the card. Truly, I was touched. I shed a few tears. It meant a great deal to me. Thank you, Pets Best, so much for being so caring and compassionate and for treating me as though I were family. I most definitely recommend this company to anyone who is on the fence in deciding who to go with for their pet insurance needs. You will NOT be disappointed.

I love my pet insurance with a thousand good points and only one bad
I love my pet insurance and have absolutely no complaints except one. Sometimes it takes a long time to get reimbursed. Its not a horribly long wait, average is two weeks, a little long, but not long enough for me to discontinue my coverage with your great company.
