Glad I have Pet Insurance
I appreciate that I have Pet Insurance especially for the peace of mind it brings knowing that I shouldn't have any large expenses when my pet is sick or injured. The only think I wish was different is that I have to pay everything out of pocket and then submit for reimbursement. The Claims process is easy and reimbursement usually comes pretty quickly but my dog recently had a large claim that I had to pay up front. I know the Veterinarian would have to participate in direct billing but I don't think that is even a thing with Pet Insurance. It would take a collaborative effort between many Veterinarians and Nationwide to make that possible.

Our investment in health insurance with Nationwide has proven very wise. They handle claims fairly and effectively with a process that is easy and efficient. I am especially pleased with the recent addition of direct deposit of reimbursements through Chase.

Bailey was switched to pets best after nationwide increased his price to much. He had his first vets visit on the third for his annual exam. I submitted the claim electronically immediately and it was processed the next week. Payment was received through direct deposit early on the week of the twelfth.

Such a great overall experience
I wasn't sure whether to get pet insurance when we brought home a new kitten. I was a bit skeptical. I decided to purchase pet insurance through healthy paws. I was an easy online experience. I submitted a few minor vet invoices and the healthy paws website was super easy to drag and drop everything. Response time was extremely quick and with very detailed explanations. Our kitten developed some respiratory problems and after some extensive exams, the bill was quite large. I knew this would be the test for healthy paws. I submitted everything and within 48 hours I had a decision and healthy paws paid in accordance with the policy. I received the check within 48 hours. The best part......healthy paws followed up with an email asking how the kitten was doing. It was very personal and heartfelt. Safe to say I will have healthy paws as long as I have a pet! Way to go healthy paws! You guys rock.

This insurance has worked well for us. Our Vet files the claim and it is adjudicated quickly and efficiently. My only wish is that the reimbursement be directly deposited in my bank account instead of going through Chase.
