With first use of sending in claim and setting the process was very impressed with the "ease" for a non-tech person. Additionally please with the recovery of expenses. Have shared with others your name! Not sure if I was a=correct about time for handling the claim-could have been sooner

peace of mind & lowered cost
Since my vet works with Trupanion I only had to pay my part directly to the vet and Trupanion will pay my vet. It was super easy & I really appreciated the peace of mind & lower cost. This is the first time I ever had to place a claim, but it made it worth every insurance premium payment. Thank you.

The claims are easy to submit
The claims are easy to submit and the reimbursement is fairly prompt. However, it is discouraging and frustrating that none of the follow up exams and draw fees/nurse visits for an already diagnosed condition are covered, particularly and the insurance premiums are not inexpensive and wellness is not covered either. Also, with regard to one of our dogs, who had a pre-existing thoracolumbar spine condition, we came to discover that ANY spinal condition which may occur subsequent to enrollment will not apparently be covered/honored. As a physician, I find this to be discriminatory and objectionable.

Thank goodness for pet insurance!
Nationwide was very easy to deal with. Simply faxed in vet bill and received an email stating that funds were being deposited. Took about 30 days but not a big deal.
