Super fast process!!
Finley is now 6 months old and was just neutered. His procedure was Friday, I submitted the claim that night from my phone, and I was reimbursed by Wednesday! Super easy and super fast process!!

With the VitusVet app it was easy to file a claim and I got reimbursed within a couple weeks.
I had several claims from an emergency surgery and was able to submit everything easily with the app on my phone. It took about 2 weeks but got reimbursed for a good chunk. It was a huge relief.

This was the first time I had filed a claim with Trupanion, and it couldn’t have been any easier! I downloaded the claim form, faxed it off with my invoices and in less than a week I was reimbursed via direct deposit! Will definitely recommend Trupanion to everyone I know!

Easy and straightforward process
So far I have been really happy with my decision to enroll my dog in Nationwide pet insurance through my employer. My dog has had an unlucky start to the year with a couple of accidents, so it has been a huge relief to me financially to have this coverage. The claim process is simple, you just submit a form with a receipt. Response and reimbursement time is pretty fair compared to past experience with insurance companies in general.

Slowest Reimbursement ever
For some reason it took 29 days to reimburse for dog food, but only 6 days for a vet visit, but the vet visit was not correctly reimbursed and when I submitted additional documentation, I received no confirmation, it is not showing in the claims section, and when I called I was told it would take an additional 30 days just to review the additional information that was submitted. Not sure how this is even remotely considered halfway decent customer service

Quick claim process, but hard to gauge a timeline or process
The process was easy to make the claim, but the process and timeline of receiving payment was confusing. I contacted nationwide twice to try and better understand the process.

I think it is a great program!
I have a 9 year old Siamese who hurt her paw and Nationwide was there for m; helping with the cost and following up to see that Jazzy was healed. I get the insurance through work and payroll deduction is easy. Claims easy. It's a win win!

Wish the process was easier
It takes forever for the claims to process. And each time I get on line to claim monies I have to reser my password and it takes forever. Wish the process was easier and quicker.
