I purchased pet insurance from Nationwide in January of this year. I have filed 2 claims since. One for an injury and one for dental cleaning under anesthesia. I filed both claims quickly and easily using the app. Both claims were completed in 3 weeks and a check in the mail a week later (can receive payment more quickly with direct deposit). I am happy with the service and knowledge my pet vet bills will be taken care of in the event of a serious illness or injury.

I have had pets (cats) for 30 years and never had pet insurance, until we got our dog, Bailey - her inquisitive nature resulted in frequent visits to the ER. My company offered Nationwide Pet insurance as a benefit. I signed up and have been delighted - very easy to sign up, very easy to file a claim, and as the plan stated, I received my repayment checks quickly, without question. I am truly delighted. The repayments have already paid for my first year of premiums! This could not be any better.

Look no further for pet insurance!!!
First there is the question of should I get Pet insurance or shouldn’t I? People will tell you their experiences... some people will say get it definitely, while some people will say, no you don’t need it. Well we decided to go with getting Insurace for our brand new puppy and thank God we went with FIGO. I am a researcher and review reader for everything I do and purchase. Figo seemed to have the most advantages and seemed user friendly. The costs were all relatively in the same ball park. We have had FIGO insurance for eight months and unfortunately we have had to use the insurance four times. If your dog has floppy ears they are prone to ear infection which could be costly... that was the first time we had to use it. The second time my poor little puppy was throwing up for two days and I don’t know what was wrong so I took her to the doctor and that was about $890. My deductible is $200 which was partially met with the ear infection. So once I met that deductible I got back 80% of the rest. If you have a puppy they are very curious and they will eat anything and things happen so you will need insurance. Within 5-10 minutes of not having my puppy on my lap I thought she was with my daughter instead she had opened a bottle of melatonin with xylitol which is toxic to dogs . Thank God we caught her. And rushed her to the vet right away so that they could induce vomiting . She still had to be a kept in the hospital for four days to monitor her blood sugar. The bill was $3000. I submitted the receipt by taking a picture..super easy, answered a few questions. My claim was approved the next day and the following day the money ($2400)was in my checking account. Two days ago I took her back to get her liver rechecked that was $106 I submitted it that night and $84.80 was in my checking account today. Every time I have submitted a claim it has been super easy and super fast I would highly recommend FiGO insurance!! Also a nice little bonus is that you get a cloud with an email address and folders online so that you can keep all of your pets records together which is really nice. I don’t usually write such long reviews but I am so glad that we made this investment. I just hope my premium does not go up after the first year because we had so many claims!

I had never had insurance on any of my pets before but after seeing the experience of my friends who had insurance I knew I wanted coverage for my new pup. I opted for the wellness coverage as well which thankfully is all I’ve had to utilize so far but it’s bern very easy, painless and payment has been quick! Definitely makes me feel like I made the right choice.
