Great service and assistance on claim
We had an unfortunate incident with our puppy ate something dangerous to her. Since it was a weekend, we knew immediately we had to bring her to the emergency clinic. At the time I was of course more worried about our dog than the cost however while waiting I couldn't help but wonder and hope our pet insurance would cover this significant cost. I was very pleased that it did and that the claim was easy to fill out at the vet. When I followed up via email the responses were within minutes or hours. There was very little I had to do to put the claim through and the cheque was mailed quickly. When I called PetsPlusUS recently the let me know that I could provide banking information so I wouldn't have to wait for a cheque if there was another claim - very convenient. The only thing I could say to improve would be to have an online portal for claims, however with the great customer service it wasn't a huge issue. Overall very happy so far!!

Good service though it takes time
I have been using Nationwide since it was VPI, for a total of 4 dogs. Currently I have two that are under coverage. I find that filing a claim has improved since they started taking online-submitted claims, and speed of payment once the claim is processed is very good since they now make payments via ACH. However the processing time can be elongated. That was the case with my latest claim. But I am not complaining.

Over a month, and claim is still "IN PROCESS"
Submitted a claim for my dog on March 14 for an operation to have bladder stones surgically removed. Policy confirms this procedure is covered, and It is now April 15, 30 days later, and they have confirmed all the information and required documentation to process the claim has been received - Yet the claim is still "IN PROCESS" after 1 MONTH!!!. Funny they advertise claim resolution between 5-10 business days - My calls and emails have gone unanswered. Terrible customer service. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Finding a insurance for my poodle
I had never really knew much about insurance for pets, I alwys figured it would not be worth all the hassle! Boy was I wrong!!! Mr. Vincent my toy poodle is my very first baby ever,I was illiterate to anything that had to do with pets!!! I got him at 3 months old with all paperwork and assumed OK THIS IS IT.... once he got sick and I got a bill of 718.00 i could not believe it!!! I began doing my research and after reviewing and speaking with almost any insurance company I found, Pets Best was the only one I felt comfortable and completely at ease. They answered all my questions and stood on the phone with me for almsot an hour, exploring what would be best for my buddy. Finally they found the perfect one for us!!! Since then I've used the policy 1 time and OMG!!! that was the really the time I was truly grateful I had choose Pets Best!!!! My claim was started and taken care of within 4 days!!! My reimbursement check was sent direct deposit and it BOOM DONE!!!! they were with me evey step of the way and really cared about his wellbeing not only HIS POLICY NUMBER!!! Def the insurance to choose when getting the best for ur lifetime friend!!!! They give us unconditional why not give it back!!!! You guys r the best!!!!

I am happy with ASPCA's overall claims experience.. the service, professionalism and ease of doing business with (including friendliness). Amazing from that perspective. I also like the iphone app .. this makes my life easier. My only wish is that there was a way to not pay out of pocket.. and rather have our vet submit the claim on our behalf. It would eliminate out of pocket expenses.. especially when your turnaround time is very delayed.... in addition, it would also help us avoid forgetting to send over a claim.
