I love this company.
I have an older French Bulldog who recently had a ligament tear. This went well beyond a human ligament issue and involved a reconstructive surgery far more complex and painful than most. Trupanion was kind and supportive throughout the process and approved payment immediately. And really really nice people were with me on the phone at every step. I am blown away at the level of customer service they provide. Keep up the great work!

If you have to have pet insurance, this is as good as any.
Submitting claims is somewhat of a hassle if done on-line, but i can't think of a better way to improve the system. Electronic signature which wound save the scan of the claim form. Submitting a claim should be part of the main web site. Have to go through Chase to get paid makes getting paid a real hassle.

Rip Off!!!!!!
I cancelled my policy October 4 -19 and they won't even send me my Refund check. I have called 6 times and they all say is another 21 days!! They want to keep my money for there interest. in there bank !! This company is a Scam!! Don't get involved with them. You will be sorry. It has been a hassle for me and I don't need this aggravation !!!!

Nationwide is on your side ...it’s TRUE! LOL
I have had 3 dogs insured through Nationwide for nearly 4 years. I had never had to submit a claim until now. In the last month, my Sheltie had to have 3 visits, 2 of them emergencies due to a foxtail in her ear. She’s now fine thank goodness. I was expecting the process of submitting my claims to be a hassle and I was so pleasantly surprised. I am really glad I have my dogs insured. I’m really grateful that my vet bills were not questioned and that the process was so easy. Thank you Nationwide!
