Too expensive not enough return on cost
I love being able to have my pet insured but the cost is so high and I get some money back but not enough to where I feel this is worth it. My husband and I debate all the time of whether to keep her insurance or just set that money aside that we would normally pay and just use that if something happens. I have three other dogs that I can’t afford to insure. I’m having to look at other places just to get them insured. I also wish I could submit claims through an app instead of faxing and the wait is so long to even find out if you’ll get anything back. I do appreciate the direct payment though instead of waiting for a check. That’s really nice.

A truly great company
I have nothing but praise for Trupanion. They were easy to work with and very quick with their settlements. Never had any kind of a problem. When JoJo died, they showed great compassion, stopping our monthly payment immediately and sending a wonderful card.

Convenient and easy
It was really easy to file the claim using the mobile app. While the processing time could be improved a bit. overall experience was really good. Accepting payments is easier too. You don't have to wait for the check in the mail, you can accept online payments.
