MetLife Cares 🥹
I have been with a couple pet insurances before finding MetLife. MetLife is hands down the best! Their premiums are fair, the claims process is easy via their app, and I feel my pet is cared for as they pay quickly (this is so important when you are worried sick about your fur baby, and spending on their care; MetLife eases the financial burden without adding to your stress💕)

While we were traveling one of our dogs…
While we were traveling one of our dogs became ill while being boarded just hours into our trip. Our normal veterinarian noticed she wasn’t doing well and ran bloodwork and x-rays which required her to be transported to an emergency veterinarian. Trupanion was there for both her veterinarian and the ER veterinarian hospital where she underwent a major surgery. I received emails from Trupanion as soon as both places submitted for approval to treat her and the final statements as soon as she was able to come home. They gave us peace of mind and kept us informed throughout the process. We got pet insurance hoping that we would never need to use it. So thankful that we did! Trupanion was amazing and we would highly recommend them.

I was so surprised at the way MetLife…
I was so surprised at the way MetLife treated us. My husband was the one who discovered that a claim was paid twice and I called customer service at MetLife that evening. The woman that I spoke with agreed and she told us to wait until we received a letter to confirm the overpayment. The letter arrived but it took a very long time, and my husband sent a refund check right away. Unfortunately the check was lost in the mail and MetLife sent me to collection without even calling or emailing us. How embarrassing to treat a very good customer this way. Please don't expect us to renew our pet insurance with MetLife ever again. This was a very poor decision on your part. Sincerely, A. Estol

This company is a joke ther are scaming people.iv had sonnet for 5 years. I had my son on my insurancehe was a bad driver. They ask me take him off so I did. Then my insurance went up from 235.00 month to 315.00 it took me a little bit to realize that my insurance should be cheap. I never been in a accident. So I called them to talk about my payment they said they was a claim on my insurance.ther wasn't. It was a internal problem. So I ask them to see why I was paying so much they said they wold get back to me. That was 8 month ago. Right now I pay 345.00 my renewal is coming up and now they want to charge me 365.00 month. I that the longer you drive with no accident you get better insurance. This insurance company is a scam don not trust them. I will be leaving then before my renew this month. Should be ashamed of your company You are shameless people you will get what coming. God bless you

My claim hasn’t been paid because you need more information from the veterinarian however, my old insurance would accept the doctors invoice and reimburse me accordingly. I don’t know if the veterinarian will reply to your inquiry for additional information.
