What a joke
I spoke to someone this morning about my claim for an accident that happened on Halloween. The claim isn’t even under review yet! The lady told me that their claims typically take 2-4 weeks to process. I asked her if my credit card charges me in interest for the bill that’s almost $7k, if they pay my late fees and she said no, maybe I can call the hospital my pet was seen at and they could pay my fees. ?? What a joke. Don’t waste your time with Figo

Without Trupanion my very happy, very loved dog wouldn't still be here. I signed up when she was 11 weeks old, hoping, of course, that she would be healthy & never need it. She is now twelve and a half and Trupanion has paid out over a quarter of a million dollars in her claims. Allergies, inflammatory bowel disease, bilateral shoulder repair, hypothyroidism, cardiac disease, osteoarthritis, four different kinds of cancer, plus a benign brain tumor that would have killed her had we done nothing, radiation (twice for said brain tumor, plus once for a soft tissue sarcoma)...you name it and my pup has either had it or is thinking about getting it. Thanks to Trupanion I've been able to give her the best medical treatment available without worry or hesitation. They've paid every claim quickly and without hesitation or hassle.

Personal touches make a difference
The claim submissions process is so easy and seamless. Trupanion is always very responsive to any questions I may have. Lastly, although seemingly minor, when my last claim included the euthanasia of my pet, the automated text I received saying the claim had been reviewed started out with saying how sorry they were for the loss of my pet. Although it was still an automated text, that seemingly small detail meant a lot to me. They also automatically discontinued my policy for me without me having to reach out and explain why, and they sent an email letting me know that also expressed their sympathies. The personal touches were much appreciated during a difficult time.
