MetLife provides me peace
MetLife has been easy to use and have worked with me to ensure I have my dog covered. Their policies are great and I feel comfort in knowing that my dog is covered under MetLife.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY F-ING SUCK
This is the absolutely WORST company in EVERY AREA - customer service - ease of use - providing guidance on whether a procedure will be covered or not. I called PRIOR to my cat’s procedure (stomatitis - had to have her teeth pulled) to find out if this is a covered / partially covered / not covered procedure. I was looking for information - Pet’s Best response “We don’t provide any information until we have the COMPLETED paperwork on file.” This means you have no clue if you will receive any reimbursement. My cat had the procedure completed for her health. Her health is the priority. (Since having her teeth pulled - she is doing excellent) I submitted the paperwork August 1st - the Vet sent the requested patient file on August 19th and they denied my claim on August 28th. The reason they DENIED the claim - this is priceless- THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE REQUESTED PATIENT FILE!!! Can anyone help me understand that logic??? The vet clinic has resent the patient file and I’ve requested they reopen the claim. I’m not holding my breath based on the rudeness of their customer service team. Again - DO NOT SIGN UP WITH PETS BEST!!!

My daughter suggested I switch my current policy to Nationwide and glad I did because it provides a wide range of coverage for my 2 young cats. They are 1 year old. The customer service rep was thorough in explaining the policy and patient with my questions.

I would recommend this pet insurance because I was a little worried that they would not reimburse me for my dog emergency visit but they did. I had no problems. They live up to what they said that they would do.

The ASPCA app simply stopped working!!!!! How can any company that requires you to file claims get away with not having a working app???? Now I have to snail mail everything!!!

The better pet insurance company out there
My 4 years old boy, Cheese, who unfortunately passed away after a series of ER visits due to diabetes complications. Pets best has been nothing but responsive, making the claim process quite a breeze. The last claim, which went toward euthanasia for my boy, was processed quickly and Pets best was courteous enough to go ahead and refunded me for the last month subscription, and also sent us a condolence card. Highly recommend Pets best, one of the best pet insurance company out there!
