Im new to insurance on animals so i was skeptical at first. After purchasing two very expensive miniature dachshunds, i knew i had to get them covered right away. After searching and searching, multiple different recommendations and videos explaining others experiences with different pet insurances, i went online to Pets Best and gave them a call for a run down of all coverage i could have to fit my budget. Within the time frame of holding 2 policies, ive already submitted 2 seperate claims. Choosing a insurance company that could help me with wellness visits and check ups was a huge must! Overall im very pleased and rest better knowing my two boys are covered and in great hands! Pets Best holds a great reputation and has the friendliest customer service team. Thanks Pets Best! Was very good to have coverage for a major event. They only thing that needs improvement is I had to resubmit my dogs records every time I made another claim for a different bill from the same occurrence. Should only have to submit that once. All in all was a good experience and a big burden off of us. Thanks.

Spot is great!
My dog was recently diagnosed with a mast cell tumor so we have had a lot of specialist visits, a trip to urgent care, and surgery. I have never really had to use his insurance before because he has always been pretty healthy so I was a bit nervous with all of the upcoming appointments and costs. I work in veterinary medicine and see how some of the pet insurance companies let clients down but Spot was always one that I heard great things about. The process to submit the insurance claims after each of these visits was so easy. The claims were processed very quickly and after I met the deductible I was reimbursed within just a few days. Spot Pet Insurance definitely put my mind at ease over these last few months and I’m glad I went with it.

Not worth it, hidden escalation, less coverage, poor response to policy holders
Have been a customer for 10 years with our dog. While the claims process has been fine over the years, slowly but surely they’ve raised premiums and reduced coverage. Now, they announced changes that more than double the monthly premium. So at 110+/month and minimum deductible of $750, I need to pay more than $2000 in a year before I am able to only be reimbursed 50%. Not sure how that is worth it for most people with relatively healthy dogs like ours. I won’t be returning as a customer in the future given their poor response to these changes when I called and messaged for an explanation, won’t recommend them.
