Impressed with Pumpkin insurance
I just got a puppy and wanted to start him off with pet insurance, since the costs for medical have risen so much over the years. I called to understand and purchase the pet insurance and was pleasantly surprised to have a person on the other end who was extremely helpful in explaining the policy offering and costing. I purchased Pumpkin insurance and could not be happier. I purchased the accident and wellness (since he is pup). He went in for his second series puppy shots and my Pumpkin wellness insurance covered the entire cost. I submitted the paid invoice and it was approved in less than 24 hours and the funds were returned to my account within 5 days.

Consistently great service
"My sweet fur baby was vomiting on December 8th. Trip to the doctor, labs, X-rays, and fluids and we decided to observe for 24 hours. December 9th she escalated vomiting and required emergency surgery. Mercifully my baby is doing great. Claim was filed on December 10th and PAID on December 19th. 90% paid no questions, no fuss just great service."
Pets Best was good at one time
I was very happy with Pets Best until recently. I went to submit a claim on their portal and was unable to log in. Called customer service and was told they were working on the problem. It has been over four months, and you cannot submit a claim through their website. You have to submit it through an e-mail and it takes forever to receive a breakdown of the allowable charges. I am beginning to look for a new insurance provider that can make processing claims simple and quick.

Trupanion is a lifesaver
Trupanion is a lifesaver, easy to have, and fast with claims and payments. With 3 elderly purebred dogs, I don’t know what I would have done without this superior coverage. It takes the financial factor out of the equation of the decision making. Because of that, my kiddos get the absolute best care possible! Thank you!

App seemed to improve with how user friendly it was with documentation requests for claims. However the reimbursement times take forever and I had one experience where it took months

The rep answered all my concerns ! And gave me heads up on checks coming through ( mail and also had me sign up for claims to come on my checking acct ! Sorry I did not get her name she was great !
