Awesome service and always concerned about Riley's health.
Our little Riley had to have emergency surgery and it was so easy submitting the paperwork to Nationwide. I believe they are truly concerned about Riley's health and are always helpful when I call with any questions. We're still pending one of the surgery claims, but hopefully will be pleased with the outcome.

Slow and not responsive
Initial review is "so far, not good!" Seven weeks after we submitted a claim and hearing nothing but, "We are slow" emails, "please forgive us." I called. All I got was, "we have a large volume and are working the claim" and "we are waiting to get records from your vet." I asked when they reached out to the vet so I could make sure the request was handled quickly, she could not tell me. After getting basically nothing from the girl at FIGO, I called the vet and she informed me that they had reached out this morning and and just completed the request and sent all of the records back to FIGO. So FIGO has everything, now we see how much longer this takes. As of now, I would not recommend this company.

Great Experience
We unexpectedly had to make a claim six weeks into dog ownership (and three weeks after the end of our waiting period!). The claim process was much easier than I expected - the vet submitted the paperwork and I got my check yesterday. No questions, no fights. Thank you!

Peace of Mind - "We've got your back"
We have three puppies that we rescued and therefore we unsure of the health care they had received. We have taken them to their vet and they have received their shots and well check. We took them with confidence knowing once our deductible was met, Nationwide would step in help with the cost of maintaining our pets health. We have one puppy, Bella, who is accident prone and has had a couple of minor surgeries and stitches for lacerations. Nationwide was there. When taking Bella to the ER, and we were asked if we had pet insurance, I said Nationwide and the response was, "You must love Bella, she's a lucky dog." Very happy with my decision to select pet insurance and Nationwide is every easy to communicate with.

It was an easy claims process.
My dog had a CCL tear and needed surgery. The vet sent in all the paperwork to Embrace and it was approved.in about a week. Customer Service was very helpful when I had questions. I would definitely recommend Embrace.

Embrace helped Dave my dog's life
My dog, Otto, got sick, very rapidly. We went to the ER and they were going to run a barrage of tests because they didn't know what was causing it. They said we could wait because it was going to be expensive and they thought he didn't look critical. The next day he still wasn't better, so we decided that the cost didn't matter. Our little guy looked dreadful. We took him back. Turns out he has Addison's disease and if we had waited another day or even until that afternoon, he would have died. Embrace allowed us to not take money into consideration when saving his life. Since last month, we have had easily $5000 in vet bills between the three day ICU stay, one follow-up scare, injections every four weeks and blood tests every two weeks. Otto will need monitoring and monthly vet visits for the rest of his (hopefully) long life, so knowing there are no lifeline limits and they won't drop him is a huge comfort in our lives. There's no way I could afford his care without Embrace. I put his bills on my credit card and they process and reimburse very quickly so I never accrue interest on my card. It is a big relief. I recommend them to every pet owner I know.
