There is always a fight to get your money, even with the highest plan that is offered.
Every time I put a claim in through Nationwide, it is always "another 30 day review". It is obvious that they are holding the money reimbursement as long as possible to just keep it invested so the company gets money. It is ridiculous, that even the simplest claim of a flea collar (which my policy strictly states it will cover), there is "additional information needed". I have yet to have a claim where it was super easy and the check came within the 30 days.

Insurance Effective date of 5/15/18- unfortunately had an emergency vet visit on 5/18.
My dog's insurance coverage was effective on 5/15/18. Unfortunately on 5/18, she was involved in an altercation with another dog that resulted in a gash under her eye that needed to be stitched immediately - of course after hours. Nationwide paid the claim in about 2 wks - no questions asked. Made me one happy camper!

Exactly as advertised.
My ER visit was covered exactly as expected. Online claim was easy to submit and I was reimbursed speedily. A great relief. I was so glad I had insurance.

i was worried that like so many other companies they would deny claims or make you go through so many hoops. NOT ASPCA ! when my cat started having issues and emergency room visits-they covered it and were fast with the checks. I probably would have had to put my little guy to sleep but because of ASPCA he is alive and doing well. Thank you for letting me have many more wonder years with him. I have my other pets insured with ASPCA and it gives me great peace of mind knowing if they are sick or in an accident the are there to help me . :-)

The rep I spoke with was Diana. I liked her immediately as she was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I did not have a claim, but was checking on the status of my application for insurance for my pet.

Best Customer Service ever
Hands down I am the so lucky to have found a company as committed to their customers as ASPCA is. I have been with them for over a year and I haven’t had any issues what so ever. They process claims in less than 2 weeks and it’s all online forms that take 2 minutes to submit. A truly remarkable service.

Why go anywhere else?
I have had Nationwide Insurance since Harry was 8 weeks old. He is now 8 years old and still going strong - and as is typical of the Old English Sheepdog breed - still acting like he is 2 years old. What a lovable clown he is! We have not had a year when I did not have to file a claim for services - and each claim has been handled quickly and efficiently. The explanation of benefits is clear and this company really cares about my pet. Why would I go anywhere else?

I kept being told it would take "30 more days" to process. Waited too long to get insurance check.
While the staff is friendly it took way too long to get reimbursed for recent care. It took 90 days to get reimbursed. That is ridiculous.
