The coverage is ok, customer service is great
The rates are reasonable. I have never had a problem with the customer service. They are very helpful and friendly. Claims are processed in a very reasonable time. I am a bit disappointed on the amount of return on my claims that have been submitted.

Total peace of mind
I am so happy that I went with Nationwide. I researched all the possibilities and couldn't have made a better choice. Everything about interacting with Nationwide has been great. From talking to agents on the phone to submitting claims. The claims are really simple to summit and automatic electronic payments are easy to set up. Nationwide is the best pet insurance available.

Love everything except email submission needs WORK!
I have been very pleased with Nationwide’s coverage, the length of time in processing claims, and payment of said claims. The only area I have had quite a bit of difficulty with is emailing my claims. 9 out of 10 times you respond by saying you couldn’t read the claims. I’ve sent the documentation in the appropriate .jpg format and I’ve tried zip file and continuously have difficulties. I’ve taken to submitting all of my claims via VitusVet and that seems to be working well. Thank you!

Great to have pet insurance
With a new puppy its definitely a life saver when it comes to my puppy contracting the illness. Its a relief to know that i have some backup in terms of the medical payment i need to make. However the only downside to the pet insurance is the fact that the claims process takes a long time and the app does not make it easy for us to go in and update the necessary information. Also with the invoice they ask us to provide for backup, it's not clear the type of information that should be in there as sometimes the vet only provides the high level outline of the what we are paying for which delays the entire reimbursement process.

Great, prompt claim service!
We recently made 2 claims in a row for our 8 year old Yorkie under the major medical coverage. Filling out the one page claim form was a breeze and turn around on the claim with payment, less the deductible, was very prompt. Great service!

Nationwide pet insurance is affordable and so easy to use
The monthly premium are very reasonable and the policy is easy to understand. The claims submission process is extremely quick and easy. I love the auto claims payment option as well. I've had 2 policies for 2 years now and am more than happy with Nationwide.

Nationwide is a great fit for our now healthy English Bully!
Our Stella is family to us. She is an English Bulldog and at times may need more vet visits than the average dog due to her breed. Nationwide is always there for us and I am usually very confident they will cover some or all of our visit (once the deductible is met). We love Nationwide and have already referred multiple coworkers and friends.

Great Customer Service - but need to improve reimbursement processing time
Hello, First, I must say that everyone I have spoken with at Nationwide has been amazing, friendly, and very customer service oriented. So the people side is awesome. However, waiting almost a month for reimbursement is way too long. Processing time for reimbursements needs to be improved. I receive personal Flex Spending reimbursements within a week. I'd imagine this should be possible, two weeks top, for this type of reimbursement. I'd encourage you to improve this metric. Thank you!
