Following my recent claims experience, I sent the following email to Trupanion: To the Trupanion Team, I've been a Trupanion client since 2012 in the hopes that Id never actually need to use my pet insurance. However, when our dog, Jordy, recently exhibited some atypical behaviors, I took him to the vet to find out that he had developed bladder stones. What I thought was going to be a little infection with some antibiotics ended up being surgery and an overnight stay at a veterinary hospital. Naturally I was worried for his recovery and prognosis, but it was such a blessing to not also have to worry about the financial strain it could have caused. Jordy pulled through the surgery wonderfully and is resting comfortably at home now. Trupanion stepped up to the plate, immediately covered the portion as outlined in my policy, and let me focus on taking care of our little guy. A million thanks cant be enough for your team, the service Trupanion provides with pet insurance, and the fantastic (and immediate) customer service. It was wonderful having direct payment
It was wonderful having direct payment to the pet hospital. Also, Trupanion efficiently coordinated the claims from our regular vet and the pet hospital so that we weren't t paying the deductible twice. thank you Trupanion so much!
