Nationwide Pet Insurance is above all the rest ! My dog Shadow has been insured by this company for 8 years and they truly do care about my pet. My dog had two extensive surgeries and while I was worried about the financial aspect of cost, i was more worried about my pet. They not only covered the cost of my dogs procedures but Nationwide insurance kept in touch and in regard to how my dog was doing. I love the fact that they send her a birthday card too !! This company is kind and compassionate about all of Shadow's/my needs in insuring she has a long and healthy life. Thank You Nationwide Pet Insurance !

Great Service
Nationwide is the the first time for me to use pet insurance on a dog that i own. I got Nationwide when Charlie was 6 weeks old and it has paid for itself over and over. They have not turned down a claim and have been so quick in refunding me back my share of the payment. Charlie is now 1 year old and I will continue with the insurance for as long as I have Charlie. I would recommend to anyone with a pet!!

Best Decision
Before selecting nationwide I read several reviews and found a number of people dissatisfied I called nationwide directly and found the company is under new management and I was encouraged to give them a try. Best decision Ever. Nationwide Pet Insurance has kept their word, honored my claims, and just a call away when my dog got sick and I wasn't sure if I should wait until the morning or take him to the hospital. Can't believe I waited this long to get pet insurance!
Love Nationwide Pet Insurance! This is my second time having a pack of dogs. My first crew was 3 girls and I had them- from first dog to last- about 18 years. I didn't have insurance for them- looking back now, I can't think why not! (I think I could've purchased a new car with all the extra vet expenses...) I just recently got dogs again (2 dogs, a boy and a girl- after taking a 2 yr break) and the breeder we got them from recommended Nationwide. We sort of signed them up on a whim- or just to see what it was like for a year. And boy! am I glad I did! I've had excellent service, no hassles, and financial help with: fixing both both dogs, shots, meds, and with what looks to be an ongoing allergy problem with one of my dogs. It's really well worth it- don't know why I thought we wouldn't need it. I also like the feeling of knowing Nationwide's got my back for taking my dogs in when I have a concern. There's no question now in my mind about being safe rather than sorry with my dogs. I love it. I love the peace of mind. I'm sold, I'll keep them on insurance for the rest of their lives.

Definitely worth the price for peace of mind in case some medical care is required.
The process was very smooth and went through without any issues. I didn't receive feedback from Nationwide about how our Veterinarian visited our house two days after the procedure for FREE of charge. I thought at minimum that I and or our Vet would have received a thank you. Regardless, I recommend your insurance to anyone I know.

I felt cared for and supported when my dog was sick and shortly after injured
I am so thankful I signed up with nationwide. It was easy to submit a claim and the staff I called and spoke with were so kind, caring, and helpful. Representatives were very knowledgeable.

Great Policy
I love having the safety net of the Nationwide insurance policy for my furbabies. The policy is easy to understand and it was easy to get the policy set up. Only compliant is that the claims take a while (about a month) to receive back, but when it is finally back, it is well worth it.

Best Pet Insurance Ive encountered, too bad human insurance isn't as good!
I have to say up front, my wife handles all of the claim paperwork, but from I have seen it is very straight forward and much easier and simpler then the previous pet insurance we had, which is why we have stuck with VIP/ Nationwide. While the other insurance talks a good game, VIP, plays the insurance game to the benefit of the Pet and the owners. Our new puppy, coming in late September will be enrolled as soon as possible once we acquire her. For creatures that can not talk, or complain, they are treated like royalty by VIP, who really stand by what they say to get you to sign on with them.
