Terrible customer service
I requested my pet insurance be effective for the adoption date of July 11. As of July 17 I am still waiting for my binder letter despite many emails and phone calls. I submitted all veterinary records in existence a month or more prior to the effective date. They say I have insurance but I have no idea what the perimeters of that insurance are until I get my binder letter. I am beginning to feel scammed by this company. Is this how they deal with claims? Avoid this company.

Claims are paid quickly
I could not afford to provide the care that Dodger needed without Trupanion. The claims are paid quickly, and I am always surprized by how much that is covered. Everyone that I speak to is kind and caring.

Healthy Paws is Paws down, the best insurance company out there!
Healthy paws insurance company is truly as great as advertised. They are honest, hassle free and good to their word. My dog recently had a major knee surgery due to an injury and simultaneously suffered an eye injury. We took our dog for the medical procedures and treatments and afterwards, it was so easy to submit the medical paperwork via the claim online, I initially thought, surely there has to be more to it than that, it can't be this easy. Within a few days, I received an email that my claim was being processed, then within 10 days, I received a check for the appropriate level of reimbursement. Healthy paws insurance was the smartest decision I ever made because they were so easy to work with and it took away the stresses of the financial burdens allowing us to concentrate on taking care of our beloved 4 legged child. Additionally, an insurance customer service rep, personally reached out to us to check on the welfare of our dog. This meant to the world to us and we really appreciated that they actually took the time to check on us assuring us that they will do everything they can to support us. Healthy Paws is truly a class organization. My wife and I even joked that our dogs have much superior medical coverage than even what we have. Thank you Healthy Paws! Please don't change a thing!

Great Service and Care!
My dog was diagnosed with a brain disease and racked up very expensive bills. I was surprised by the speedy reimbursement and care shown by the follow up calls I got from Customer Service representatives at ASPCA. I would highly recommend this insurance!
