So happy I went with Pets Best for my puppy!
I was hesitant to buy pet insurance, since I have never had my own dog before and didn't know what could happen or if the monthly fee was really worth it. After many conversations with friends and family who told me insurance was a must, I did serious research to find not only the best price, but also one that had great customer service reviews. I knew I might have questions and I wanted a company that was able to answer those quickly and correctly. After purchasing Pets Best insurance, I submitted a claim for 3 booster shots, heartworm and flea/tick meds and my puppy's microchip. They immediately emailed me confirming they had received my claim and would be reviewing in the coming days. A few days later, they emailed again to let me know a check was on its way for the full amount of the shots and meds, and nearly 50% of the microchip cost (as detailed in my plan). There were no surprises - although, I suppose I was surprised to see such an easy process play out exactly as I would hope with an insurance company! Overall, I would definitely recommend Pets Best.

Great Experience after hospitalization
Our dog was hospitalized with vomiting and refusal to eat after being seen the day before for lethargy. Embrace covered exactly what our policy said they would, 80 percent of the bill after the $500 deductible. We’re so happy we chose this insurance!

It's worth it!
I have had Trupanion for a current dog (who has not needed any treatment) and two previous dogs. Among the usual doggy concerns there were two expensive, unexpected and unusual ones. My 12 year old dog had emergency surgery for laryngeal paralysis (about $4500). Not only did Trupanion pay the 90% (minus the exams, as per their policy), they called the night my dog went into the hospital to tell us they had already approved the claim and to just work on helping him get better. My 6 year old dog was diagnosed with lymphoma and we chose to do chemo. Trupanion paid 90% of the $500 to $900 weekly treatments costs over four months. They paid all tests, drugs, treatments recommended and when we needed to go to the US for further treatments, they continued to pay without question. When we lost both dogs last year, they sent sympathy cards signed by all of the staff. It is not cheap coverage, but I know that I can make decisions based on what is best for my dogs, not on money--- and that is wonderful peace of mind.

Pleasantly surprised!
I received payment from ASPCA Insurance as soon as all of the information requested had been received and reviewed. One of the vet's offices didn't respond right away. Customer Service continued to contact them until the information was received. They did a great job taking care of my claim. And my oldest dog is almost back to 100%!

Peace of mind
I have peace of mind knowing my Golden Retriever and Bernese Mt. Dog are getting the very best veterinary care for every medical issue, because I have Trupanion. Yes, It's worth the monthly premiums. I own a pet sitting business and recommend Trupanion to all my customers. I cannot begin to say how many have thanked me. And others have told me how much they regret not having followed my advice. thank you Trupanion for all that you do!!!!!

Your representatives were very friendly and knowledgeable.
Your representatives were very friendly and knowledgeable. Your compensation was quick and expeditious. I would've given a "10" but your computation for compensation was enigmatic for both myself and the representative who was trying to explain it. Kudos to her for getting it figured out with the computation dept. and calling me back quickly with the answer.
