good overall. Took about 4 weeks for a response which I thought was a long time, even for the first claim. Overall I'm pleased with my experience so far and would recommend. I appreciate that it took me a long time to turn my invoices in, and the representative told me there was no expiration, which was impressive.

When we first purchased pet insurance, we prayed we would never have to use it. We realize that this is a business relationship and that we send premiums every month for our insurance on Ozzie and Oscar, but the ease and expediency with which this company responds, the no-hassle reimbursements and coverage, the concern and personal attention they give us is beyond all expectations. The service we have experienced with Healthy Paws is a forgotten courtesy for most companies and takes us back to a time when business was conducted with a smile and honest-to-goodness sincerity. Not what I expected
This was the first time my cat has been sick. After 3 days in 2 different emergency hospitals, he was finally starting to feel better. I thought I was prepared with having routine and emergency insurance coverage, but I was mistaken. I knew I was going to have to pay some money, but I was surprised when I got stuck having to pay the majority of a $3000 bill. I was disappointed in the reimbursement to say the least, but also that a representative did not call for details of the situation to take into consideration for reimbursement. I question why I’m paying all this money to have my pets insured if the insurance doesn’t cover at least a majority of the expenses?

Best Pet Insurance Company
I can't say enough nice things about how this company runs it's business. I have had other companies that fought me the entire way to process a claim and the ASPCA gets my claims, processes them, and sends me a notice that is has been received, is processing and/or finished. They NEVER have raised my rates except for the age of the dog each year (which makes sense) - the older usually means more problems. I've even gotten phone calls to say how sorry they were when one of my "fur babies" has passed away. I have recommended them to all of my friends.
