Nationwide Pet Insurance is a game-changer!
Having Nationwide pet insurance is beyond a piece-of-mind when it comes to taking care of my rescue dog TED. We have been through some health issues that I am not sure I would have been able to afford if not for this insurance. Nationwide is the absolute best!

Nationwide is definitely on my side
I have nothing but great things to say about Nationwide. It was one of the best decisions I made to sign up for whole pet with wellness. Processing claims has been quick and easy and reimbursements the same. I was hesitant to purchase pet insurance after reading many stories about denied claims. I have had coverage for about 2 years and have not had to file any claims until recently when my pet had multiple appointments and procedures to take care of some issues and nationwide was definitely on my side.

Excellent, no-fuss coverage
My experience with Nationwide has been consistently good. They provide great coverage and my claims are processed quickly with no hurdles thrown in the way as often happens with insurance companies. It’s been an excellent experience so far.

Some things I love and others might cause me to change
I love the Vet Helpline, it has been very helpful to me during a very difficult time with my pets. (primarily one of my cats). Overall, there are things about VPI Pet Insurance (I still call you this, not Nationwide) that I love. I can go to any vet, anywhere in the world and submit a claim at any time. These are the things that keep me here. What I am finding difficult is the sudden surge in cost after my pets turned 10 - even though they have been at VPI since they were 10 weeks old and I have a number of pets. The second, is it seems that I am getting less reimbursement for claims - for example, medication is not included but when my cat is over 10 years old, he actually does need regular medication. With the surge in cost, I'm now not so sure VPI is as good as it seems to be when my animals are really sick.

Very helpful during a big surgery
We found out that our dog Willow needed bilateral TPLO surgery. When we called to ask what they would cover they asked us to print out a claim form and have our Ver send it to them directly- we did. Turns out they cover 90% of the surgery costs. We even received a courtesy call after her surgery to see how her recovery was going. We are very happy with the service ASPCA health insurance provides us.

So easy I didn't believe it
Pets Best has been one of the easiest insurances I have ever used. I work for a human health insurance company, so I figured when my dog had a cancerous tumor, I was going to have to spend hours gathering medical records and appealing decisions to get any payout. Color me surprised when I submitted my claim just by describing in three sentences why she had services, and a week later having the money in my account! I cannot say enough good things about how easy and quick everything was.
