So grateful for nationwide. The process of filing a claim is so easy and transpararent. They payed their portion as agreed no Problems or hassle or additional info needed. Their payment with in the two week mark went straight into my bank acccount. I would recommend them to all my pet-loving friends and family!

Love Nationwide
I started using Nationwide Pet Insurance 5 years ago and am so glad I did. I've not only felt more secure for my pets' overall welfare - I get reimbursement checks fast after major issues have occurred. To that end, the company sends a nice note they hope my pet is well again. I like it even if it is automated - someone /somewhere thought to do that kind gesture. I highly recommend you always.

Good, but could offer benefits more like the human counterpart insurance
ASCPA is a good insurance, but there are others that have better coverage. I wish ASCPA would tweak there coverage or have a "MATCH" guarantee with their competitors. If you're a newbie to the pet insurance realm, definitely read the fine print. Not everything is covered and some things that are covered are at a reduced percentage than the advertised norm. All in all, the people that I have been used to dealing with in customer service and claims, etc...they are the BEST. Very accommodating and helpful. Couldn't ask for more there. Communication an A+

My experience with the claims process was very easy, great!
I took King in for shots. He's feeling great, thankfully! It was super easy to submit my claim and receive reimbursement. I'm happy I have this policy for my little buddy!

Not fast on claim reimbursements
I called ahead before getting pet insurance to verify all her first year shots, spay all those things would be covered. I also asked about her umbilical hernia, they said turn it in but it might not be covered, since prexisting, it wasn’t so not too surprised. The issue I have is I turned everything in the day of claim, and my vet sent all medical records within one week, it still took around three weeks to get reimbursed, two phone calls of babysitting! So the 5-10 day turnaround is not accurate. I sell this insurance so I wanted to try it, not real happy with customer service and follow through.

So happy we made the decision to get insurance!
In the last two years our dog has had two major illnesses, one required emergency surgery and a blood transfusion, the other nearly 8 months of expensive medication, and not only did ASPCA cover 80%, getting reimbursed couldn’t have been easier or faster! Pet insurance has made what’s best for my pet an easy choice when I don’t have to worry about cost! Thanks for saving his life twice!
