Awesome company
My poor Sydney fractured a tooth. She is only 2 1/2 Years old. It was a large back tooth. My vet wanted to pull it. But Healthy paws was there for me to save the tooth. They paid so I could go to a specialty dentist for pets. She ended up having her tooth bonded and we saved the tooth. Thank you for great coverage and great customer service. They kept me updated every step of the way. So worth it!! The bill was $1400 and I got $950 back !! Such a help.

Amazing customer and claim service.

Major Medical Not What Hoped
I am pleased with overall kindness and response times by Nationwide, but am very surprised that Conan's stomach surgery was only minimally covered, even though I have major medical insurance and have been paying into the plan for over 9 years. In the end, my bill was close to $10K and insurance only covered $3.3K. I thought it would be closer to 80% coverage. I was going to call once things settled down to see if there was an error in reviewing the bill, and if some things might have been missed that should be covered under my insurance. I think your customer service is great, but could not recommend based on low percentage of coverage. Speaking with a friend, her insurance company covered 80% of her dogs major medical recently, which just reinforced my disappointment.

Great coverage! Just a little slow
Nationwide has been great with coverage especially with any emergencies or veg visits but sometimes it takes a while for a claim to be reimbursed.

Nationwide Insurance is wonderful
I love Nationwide pet insurance. The claims process is easy and transparent. My vet directly submits the bill electronically. I get an acknowledgment of receipt by Nationwide. I get reimbursed within a few weeks by electronic deposit to my checking. It seems they pay nearly everything, even very expensive treatments and what they don't pay, they explain very clearly. I understand the process. It is fair, honest, and fast.

Extremely pleased with my new Nationwide policy
I’m so glad I got this policy, I have never had a pet insurance policy before and I definitely chose the right company. great customer service, great website, great app and they stepped right up to the plate with coverage the first accident with my dog.
