Thankful for Trupanion
I am so thankful to have Trupanion....I know when I take my little boy to the Vet that I am covered, as he is getting older and has had some issues lately, so I know the insurance is there for me, which makes a HUGE difference in the ability to have him treated, as he should be. Sometimes the expenses can be overwhelming, but with Trupanion, I am confident he will get the best of care!. I love the Vet Direct Pay, where they pay the Vet directly.

One less thing to worry about!
We got our pug puppy from a breeder at 8 weeks old, so I decided to get insurance. It really has made my life a lot easier and paying for her medical bills has been one less thing to worry about. When she decided to eat an entire chicken bone, I wasn't worried about paying for the lab tests and medicine at the ER. When she developed a chronic cough the vets could not solve and we had to go back 3 times, I did not have to worry about the cost of the tests done there nor the medicines. Files were easy to claim (you can use your phone!) and I got back the money in a reasonable manner. For me, it was about 2 weeks for a direct deposit. Definitely recommend!!!

HORRIBLE
My dog had minimal dental buildup so they wouldn't cover her dental cleaning. Every animal has SOME tartar. It is not a CONDITION. It is LIFE. They steal your money. DO NOT RECOMMEND. It took them 4 months to finally review the invoices. 2 months after they received her records. SLOW SERVICE and vague descriptions of previous conditions.

Trupanion representatives are always positive, helpful, professional and courteous - even asking about my dogs by name. The submission of a claim form was easily done through the vet office and the adjucation of the claim was extremely 'fair' and straightforward.

Speedy service and quick reimbursement
When I took out this insurance, I was hoping I wouldn't have to use it. But my beloved Sadie developed a mass on her gum that was removed and diagnosed to be a malignant melanoma. I was heart-broken and the bills just for the diagnosis were high. I submitted my first claim and was amazed at how quickly Pets Best responded - within a week I had my reimbursement. The last claim was processed and I had only sent it in two days ago. Very, very happy with the service and would recommend it to anyone.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is the most thoughtful and easy insurance I have ever dealt with.
Nationwide is very simple to work with. All forms are online and everything is electronic. They have great explanation of benefits and has covered my baby now for 2 years. This is the best insurance company that I have ever dealt with.
