App is a Mess
Let me start by saying that I have never had an issue with MetLife until recently. The app needs work. When you submit claims for more than one pet it is VERY confusing. After submitting my claim, I couldn’t determine if it submitted/submitted correctly through the app. I had to just email it which was way better for me. Also I was told that because I submitted both claims incorrectly that someone would be in touch within 24-48 hours. It took a week and a half before that happened only because I was persistent.my claims took two weeks to get paid off.

Do not purchase a policy with Spot
I regret going with Spot Insurance and paying upfront for a year. So far they have denied my claims, saying that it's a pre-existing condition. However, my cat was never treated for any of the issues before and the things he was treated for are in no way related to the claims I submitted. They make it impossible to get in touch with customer service to dispute a claim. Can't email or chat online - can only call. However, each time I tried to call I sat on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up. Do not go with this company. There has to be better options out there.

They were gracious, helped me file my claim which was approved in short order. Took much of the filing stress away . So glad my documents were in order. Awaiting my reimbursement now .

Wouldn't be without pet insurance
Actually, it's difficult to talk to a person but I've figured out how to download information and get everything to you. The review time for claims has been very slow but now that I have a dog in chemotherapy the review and payout has been much faster, which I appreciate.

Pets Best Stands by their Commitment and Delivers as Promised
I have Pets Best policies for two pets. I have had to file multiple claims for one of them, as she has had a number of serious health crises. Even though some of these crises happened very close together, Pets Best has stood behind their commitment and followed through on reimbursing me for all the costs that are covered in my policy. In addition, the claim process was easy and handled in a very timely manner, with notification sent to me to assure me that they were working on my claims. Not having to stress over my claim at times when I have been highly stressed over the health of my pet has been invaluable to my own wellbeing and peace of mind. I very highly recommend Pets Best!! The service and commitment I have received has been nothing short of excellent!
