Absolute best insurer!
Remi has her annual physical every year but doesn't get sick very often. She does need her anal glands done about every 6 months. This insurance has covered at least one of those visits. It's nice to know the insurance is there if we need it! It did take a little over 3 weeks to be reimbursed for the claim. BUT, of the $111 charged, we received $100.67 in return. Her deductible had been satisfied. Also, her Bravecto is covered as well.

I finally found a pet insurance I can trust!
Nationwide is an honest and reliable. They stick to their word and everything is as easy as they say. We adopted a mini poodle from a shelter 2 months ago we signed up for insurance immediately. The first thing we did was to get her shots, then we took her back to get spade. Within 2 visits we had passed our deductible and a check was in the mail within a month for almost $200. Then we had a check up visit and got her a heart worm shot and it was covered under insurance as well. We received another check for 90% of the cost. We have never been so pleased with an insurance company. I am so glad I found Nationwide!

Best insurance and excellent customer service!
This is the best insurance anybody can rely on! Our puppy was a cryptorchid and Banfield did a crappy job on the neuter surgery. I had to transport him to SVS for an emergency abdomen exploratory because Banfield wasn't sure if they severed his ureter or vas deferens. It was a very stressful time as he had to go under 3 times in 24 hours. He was just a 6 month old puppy! And it cost me like $4500 totally from start to finish. Healthy paws covered all the cost 90% (as per my plan). It included even the rehabilitation laser therapy for his incision. I was really impressed that an insurance company cares so much that they would even cover such optional therapy costs. That's something! I wish our insurance people were this considerate. And they have a great customer service. They checked up on Newton after surgery and I even got a response e-mail from them. I really tried to leave a review about them in as many websites as possible but I have been busy. I just decided that it needs to be done today! I am not a person who easily leaves reviews online but this one was important. As a pet parent, I would want to know I have the best insurance for my boo. And now I know. Hope my review helps new pet parents looking for an insurance. Thank you so much once again Healthy Paws! You guys are the best.

Wonderful, compassionate service personnel
I’m fortunate that my 110 pound dog is generally quite healthy. But when those other times happen...it is great to know that ASPCA pet Insurance is there to help with the bills. On the most recent claim my dog had a stomach virus that just wouldn’t go away. The vet needed to run some tests and prescribe medication and see him for a recheck. Fortunately, Bailey has recovered and is doing fine AND the pet insurance reimbursed me fairly. They even called a few weeks later to see how both of us were doing! Five years ago he inhaled an acorn that lodged in his trachea. We almost lost him because neither the regular vet or the emergency vet could get it out. Our pup was in critical condition being kept alive by machines until a specialist was able to remove the acorn after several attempts. Bailey fully recovered and ASPCA pet insurance came through to keep this $6,200 bill from being such a big financial hit for us. And yes, they followed up a couple of times to check on his progress and to see if they could be of any help! The service reps are professional, kind, caring and supportive.
