Phenomenal customer service
Nationwide customer service is phenomenal. They are helpful, friendly, and shows empathy. My furbaby Lilo passed and I had to cancel her insurance . It was emotional on the phone and the customer representative comforted me. My other furbaby Stitch had surgery and I didnt know how the claims work, so customer service explained it to me in a friendly fashion and made sure all my questions were answered. I am happy to say, I am glad my furbabies have insurance and extra glad it is withNationwide. Thank you.

Excellent Pet Insurance Company
I've been a customer with VPI now known as Nationwide for almost 16 years, With my previous Maltese and now with current Maltese. Without exception all of the Customer Service Rep's are very caring and a truly pet lovers. One of the thing I find the best is the 24 hour Pet Help Line. That to me is what set's Nationwide a part from other companies. Also they have been around for many years on like others. I will recommend Nationwide to new pet owners. I proud to say I am a policy holder.

Peace of mind!
When my cat, Misty, recently started whining and shaking out of the blue, I called Nationwide's vethelpline right away (it was getting late on a Friday night). They suggested taking her in to see a vet, and we finally found one still open. She looked really bad! The vet did their thing and diagnosed her with some stomach distress, gave her medicine for the pain, and we got to go home. Misty recovered pretty quickly, thank goodness! Without access to the great advice at vethelpline, we may have waited longer and then had a longer recovery process. When it came time to submit the claim, the process couldn't have been easier! Send in the receipt -> sign up for direct deposit -> authorize refund -> done! I'm incredibly happy with Nationwide's service so far, and peace of mind means so much when it comes to your fur baby!

Delivers as promised but sometimes take a little long.
Nationwide delivers their reimbursements as defined in their contracts. I have no complaints at all. I only wish that the claims were at least looked at sooner. I had a claim not even looked at for a month and then told information was missing to process. This added another month to processing. If at least a review of missing information is done maybe within a week would be nice. Other than that I am perfectly happy. I think I have learned to submit my claims direct to Nationwide and not use the VitusVet app.

Nationwide has been the best insurance provider I have ever experienced. They have never questioned a claim that I have submitted. They have followed up to see how my dog is doing. They reimburse you in a timely manner. Submitting a claim is so easy and I have recently set up direct deposit which has made it even easier to be reimbursed. I tell all of my friends and family and any other pet owners I run into about my amazing experience with Nationwide. I recommend them with no reservations.
