Greatest Letdown
Pets Best let me down in the worst way. They used my pet-incident insurance and grouped three of my dogs condition as one incident, therefore monumentally cutting my benefits. I was told if I got supportive letters and medical records, I would most definitely have my benefits extended so I submitted letters from two veterinary specialists, a cardiologist and an internal medicine doctor and they did not overturn the decision. My dog passed away this summer from her illnesses which was devastating and even worse was feeling the injustice of not being given the security I thought I had from her insurance policy. This company will happily take your money and increase your premiums as your dog gets sicker and older but when medical crisis strikes, do NOT expect their support. Animal lovers are the kindest breed of humans and that is who they prey on. I’m so sad, sharing this in memory of my sweet baby Riley.

I’m so grateful that Trupanion exists!
Thanks so much to Trupanion phone representative, Hillary who immediately understood the questions and concerns I have, and she seemed knowledgeable in her answers and the info she gave me. My experience with Hillary is that she is considerate, respectful, knowledgeable, patient. My interaction with her reassures me that I’m making the right decision to have Trupanion Insurance for my dog and my 2 cats. I called Trupanion to ask about ithe recent diagnosis of a mild heart murmur for my dog Nika. I’ve had previous pet dogs with heart murmur, dilated cardiomyopathy, congestive heat failure and atrial fibrillation, so I’m aware of what could possibly happen for Nika if her heart condition progresses. Hillary explained completely how Trupanion would cover the costs associated with future treatment of Nika’s heart condition. It’s so reassuring to know I’ll be able to afford to give Nika the benefit of the current high quality care options for heart disease.

Helpful, Prompt & Caring - All one would want and more
Our weimaraner Sitka, at 14 months, got a severe case of pneumonia and nearly died. After four days at a veterinary specialty hospital, on IV fluids, 2 antibiotics and oxygen, she survived and is back at full health. As one can imagine it was all quite expensive, racking up over $8,000 in bills. The people at Healthy Paws came through promptly with care and professionalism. Two weeks from submission to payment, with a personal note in between asking how she was doing. Healthy Paws is the best.

The best back to have!
This has been the best thing I have gotten since getting Lily! When I call customer service they are always nice and helpful. And recently when I had to take Lily to the emergency vet the claim process was easy and has definitely helped me out with this already stressful situation! I would highly recommend this to any pet owner and encourage to do so because they are family and Nationwide insurance treats them like so!

Nationwide has been a blessing for my Goldendoodle
Peace of mind is something that CAN be purchased, in the form of pet health insurance. Once in a while it seems that everything seems to go wrong no matter what we do. This year was our year! We had a serious health issue with one of our dogs. Fortunately, my dogs are all covered by Nationwide Pet Insurance. I called the company who assured me that my girl’s veterinary bills would be covered and that I should only concern myself with getting her the care she needed. Nationwide would take care of the rest. So, I made sure my girl was given the best care and gave no more thought to the bills that seemed to be escalating. For me, who has never had need of a canine specialist in 60 years of dog ownership, the comfort I found with Nationwide cannot be measured. Today, my girl is healthy, full of life and love. I can not recommend this company more. Thank you Nationwide, for being there.
