Time sent in processing and type of communication
Based on the times we live in I think it takes too long for the claim to be processed. Also you guys only prefer to communicate via email which made sense several years ago. Text messages, and live chats on the site is today's preference. Need to get a little more efficient with your processes and communication. Also submitting a claim as an attachment on the site should be offered to your clients. Faxing is so outdated. Emailing is an additional step that can be avoided.

Quick and easy
I was a long time member of PetPlan. Everytime I had to file a claim with them I could feel my anxiety go up. Would it be approved? Will I have to appeal? Is the customer service going to be terrible? When I filed my first claim with Nationwide, I had concerns it would be the same experience I had with PetPlan. To my surprise, the process was quick and totally painless. Customer service reps were friendly and informative and my claims were reviewed in a timely manner. Dealing with a sick pet is stressful enough, you dont want to have to stress about your insurance plan too and, so far, with Nationwide, you really dont have to. Thank you and I am so so glad I made the switch.

Pets Best is fantastic, great coverage with an easy process and fast reimbursement!
Pets Best has been a great experience and help for an unhealthy puppy. Claims were covered quickly with great EOB’s and it very user friendly. I recommend Pets Best on Facebook pet groups every time someone asks. Overall great experience that saved a puppy!

Extremely disappointed!!!!!
I pick up my puppy on a Thursday night, the next morning I left for work he was completely fine. While at work I enrolled in the pet insurance that was given to me by the rescue company. When I got home from work the dog started showing slight signs of a kennel cough. Hours later I took the dog to the vet for a scheduled check up. The vet noted signs of kennel cough on the paperwork. Hours later the dog got even sicker. I had to take him to the emergency vet. He came down with pneumonia and was not eating or drinking and puked over 60+ times. The rescue insisted that trupanion would cover the vet expenses. Since the vet I took him to for the check up made a note that he showed signs of kennel cough it screwed my claim and now they are claiming it as pre-existing condition. The dog came to me healthy and within 12 hours of getting the insurance his body was shutting down and he was dying. I am so upset and feel that I was taken advantage of. My free trial was coming to an end and I have been debating whether or not to keep my insurance with trupanion. Well I decided not to reenroll and go with a different company, I was not happy with the service they provided. They never called me to get my side of the story. I waited weeks to hear from anyone. When I called 2 times both people I spoke to were very rude. Extremely disappointed!!!!!

Fast and Good Service
My dog recently jumped off a few flight of stairs in a hurry and tore her knee ligament. The ER and surgical fee were overwhelming but thanks to ASPCA covering 90% of it, we managed to get through. The service agents were professional, sympathetic, and quick to respond to any questions/concerns. We are thankful that we were covered in our time of need.

Diligent and great communication
Our puppy ate raisens which we know our toxic and took him to the emergency vet. They were lax in getting additional information back to Embrace so that our claim could be processed. Embrace kept us informed of the claim status until it was received.
