Wellness insurance is the best!!!!
I have wellness protection for my dog along with illness/accident insurance. This claim was for wellness, I had his teeth professionally cleaned and also I got his flea/tick medication. You decide how much you want your wellness amount to be from what they offer and you decided from the long list of services what you want to use your wellness dollars for. Embrace makes filing a claim so easy and extremely easy for wellness claim. You just attach a copy of the receipt for the wellness claim and that’s it. The money is then deposited into my designated checking account approx 10 days. I have been with Embrace since my little one was a puppy and he is now 2 years and 7 months old. I have never had a problem with any claims and they are quick in processing their claims and also they send you an email to let you know it has been processed..

Trupanion allowed me to make veterinary decisions based on my pet's needs rather than finances
My little red long-haired dachshund, Ruby, recently passed away. She had a number of medical issues, beginning when I first adopted her. We enrolled with Trupanion for her and my other dog when Ruby was about 7. Over the last 7-8 years, Ruby had a number of significant medical issues that accumulated to veterinary bills in the tens of thousands of dollars. In the last couple of years, medications for Ruby and my other dog would cost more than $200/month if it weren't for Trupanion. In the midst of Ruby's emergencies and health scares, I took great comfort in knowing that I wouldn't have to make an end-of-life decision or forgo the care that she needed due to my personal finances; I would never have to live with the guilt of not having pet insurance for her. Thanks to Trupanion, Ruby got the absolute best medical care throughout our decade of life together. I am so grateful for their streamlined claims processes, excellent customer service, and easy-to-use website. I feel like they valued Ruby's well-being almost as much as I did. I will never go without Trupanion for my pets! It has paid for itself many, many times over.

Paid exactly what they said they would
I was skeptical due to reading pet insurance reviews in general. I have been an embrace customer for about 4 years but luckily had never had to file a claim. A few weeks ago my nearly 9 year old lab mix and canine love of my life got seriously ill. I had to take him to the hospital at 3 in the morning and he spent the day in doggie ICU, and another day at the hospital. Thankfully he has fully recovered but it was such a comfort that my only concern was making him better. I only have a basic plan but it made the vet bill manageable. Thank you Embrace.

Pain Free Experience
Working with Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a breeze. While dealing with a lot of bladder issues with my dog, the process of submitting claims has been very simple, especially through the VitusVet app. I have not had to get involved in disputing or adding more detail to a claim. Whatever process happens between the insurance company and my vet has not had to go through me, which I greatly appreciate.

Trupanion has been a life saver!
Trupanion has been an excellent company to deal with! We have a German Shepard that needed spinal decompression surgery and at the same time a cat that decided to swallow a random foamy piece (won’t eat his canned food but a foamy piece looked yummy!) so that required surgery..... trupanion was a life saver! Instead of worrying about the bill we were able to focus on our pets recoveries. They covered everything we expected them to (read the fine print so you know what’s covered and what’s not so there’s no surprises) and they paid immediately through our vet so we only had to pay our deductible and our share of the costs. They’ve paid out almost 10k for us! Would highly recommend to anyone! 👍😀🐾

Absolute pain but Kelly in the call center saved the day
We had over $5,000 in claims and had to wait nearly 2 months to be paid back (assuming the transfers show up in the next day or 2). Why the delay? I received email after email saying I had missing information. I would call day after day asking what information was missing. They would tell me it was from our dogs old vet and nothing I could do. I still received the emails and continued to call asking why and what I could do to be paid back. Turns out, the old vet faxed the information to the wrong number and a month and a half later Pets Plus Us still hasnt tried to follow up with them and just left me on the hook. Each time I called I would get the run around. Today Kelly promised to look into it and call me back (as previous agents on the phone did). She was the first to call back and told me I am being reimbursed right away. Thank you Kelly.... what was an awful experience all throughout was made better by you. Also, for anyone reading.... be aware that when your vet tells you to call poison control and you spend upwards of $100 on that phone call so that the vet can receive proper information, this will not be reimbursed as Pets Plus Us has their own poisons call center. I feel this is something everyone should know as it seemed like a bit of a gimmick not letting me call the professional of my choice but being forced to use Pets Plus Us' call center.

Best choice for pet insurance
I am so happy to have gotten my dogs insurace through Healthy Paws. My wonderful lab is only 2 1/2, and unfortunately, she developed a serious ear infection that her regular vet could not cure. She had to be seen by a specialist, and had to be sedated for proper treatment. Just the antibiotics alone she had to be given were $600.00. When I called Healthy Paws to see if they would approve them, they assured me everything was covered and that she would never be dropped. Customer service is wonderful to deal with, they even reached out to me to see how she was doing. You always hope your pet won’t need the insurance, but things happen, and I am so grateful for Healthy Paws. They certainly proved themselves to me! Needless to say, I highly recommend them!
