The vet was able to process their portion of the payment directly with Trupanion and I was just left with deductibles and 10% of the surgery. I did have questions but the CSU was very helpful. Thank you!

Could not believe how easy it was to file a claim
This was my first claim with Pets Best. I could not believe how easy it was! I uploaded a picture of the receipt and submitted the form with the basic information needed. Payment was with in a few days! Right to my bank account! Thank you Pets Best!

Claims were rejected
I was not impressed with how all my claims were rejected. I know most of them were classified as pre existing but all that has led to my dog have a third surgery. So the pre existing condition has led to that. I asked the dr to fill out claims appeal but he also said the same thing. I will b canceling this insurance soon. Thank you.

Not covering exam fees and slightly higher monthly payments is why not a higher score. But response rate was great!

Claims are always processed quickly
Claims are always processed quickly, and Trupanion's customer service has always been excellent when I call with questions. I also appreciate the option to have preapproval on a large claim conducted via my vet clinic and for me to pay the balance of what I owe after the claim has been finalized.
