Very responsive and reasonable
I tell people all the time how glad I am that we have pet insurance and how wonderful Nationwide is. Claims are processed quickly and none of her charges have ever been questioned.

Awesome and speedy claim service
My dog Gunnar went to vet for his yearly vet examination and update on vaccines. The vet discovered he had a slight ear infection in his left ear. Nationwide Ins. Needless to say was very quick on settling my claim.

Consistently Great Service
This was my first foray into pet insurance and I really was skeptical about how useful it would be for me and also how much of a headache the claims process might be. I apparently had nothing to worry about and it has been great peace of mind having the wellness coverage. The claims process has been a breeze with everything done online and reimbursement has always been very fast. For further convenience, you can have reimbursements direct deposited into your account. The explanation of benefits is very clear in terms of what is covered and how your reimbursement is calculated. All in all, it has been a very positive product and service experience. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Bob & I cannot say enough good things about Nationwide Insurance. You have been there for all of our pets and for us. When our dog, Winston, had cancer a few years ago, you made it possible for him to have chemo therapy and live a few more months in comfort. Just recently our dog, Shakespeare, was dying and once again, with your help, we could keep him comfortable until the end. Our puppy, Barclay, had liver problems and we were able to have the best of care because of Nationwide Insurance. We tell everyone to purchase Nationwide Insurance when they get a pet.

Nationwide is the best!
I've had Nationwide since they took over for VPI. Nationwide has a very comprehensive plan. Claims are paid very quickly. Customer service, when needed, has been excellent.

Overcharged for 2 years and there is "nothing they can do."
I have been with Petsecure since 2015. I am a veterinary professional and was receiving a veterinary discount on my plan when I originally signed up. I noticed my rate had gone up significantly and that they stopped applying the discount in 2017. I was told they called and left a message (which I never received) checking to see if I was still a veterinary employee. When I asked today what they could to to rectify this situation I was told there was "nothing they could do now." Over the last 2 years I have been over charged approximately $400 due to their mistake. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. The customer service is horrible.

Healthy Paws is amazing.
I don't know where I would be if I hadn't signed up for Healthy Paws insurance. At 5, Tucker, my French Bulldog was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease -- a manageable, but incredibly costly (and nerve wracking disease). The team at Healthy Paws - ESPECIALLY Brian Peterson (this dude goes above and beyond the call of his role - I've never seen anything quite like it) was there for me every step of the way. I won't sugarcoat - it's not easy dealing with insurance companies, filing claims, waiting to get paid, etc -- but HP went above and beyond to answer my questions and help me navigate their system & get more familiar with their processes. They had amazing customer service both via email + on the phone (for both easy conversations & not-so-easy conversations). I can't say enough about Healthy Paws. I am so lucky/thankful that they were the insurance company that I picked for my little guy. HIGHLY recommend.

GREAT
The customer service was excellent and claims were settled promptly.. My husband and I are on a fixed income which is why we purchased coverage in the event of an illness. We never want to make life and death decisions for our pets based on money, only on quality of life. We feel very fortunate that our coverage turned out to be excellent.
