My dog has lymphoma and it was time to renew his policy. It was very pricey. So I called to cancel with the intention of self-insuring. The representative found a way to significantly lower my premium by changing the deductible for any future problems. This is a very emotional time for me and she handled it with grace and empathy.

Claim paid quickly BUT they also sent me some information on my remaining cat's policy. I really didn't have to be reminded that I have only one cat now. Rather harsh.
