This pet insurance is a life saver. The payments are minimal, but the return is huge when you need them the most. Their claim process is easy to figure out and the communication is great!

I am so thankful for the claims reimbursement for my cat’s veterinary care over the last few months. He was incredibly sick and needed an extensive amount of treatment very acutely; I was concerned I would lose him. Treatments were very expensive, which only added to the stress of the situation; having never filed a claim with Nationwide before, I wasn’t sure how the process would work and was honestly unsure of how much of the care would be covered. I was so pleased with the reimbursement I received, so THANK YOU for making that terrible time a little easier! I’m happy to tell you that Desmond has recovered well and is back to his old, sweet self. Thank you again, Nationwide!!

Got my reimbursment, improvment recommemded
I got my reimbursement. When I called to check status , I spent about 2 hours navigating the annoying system trying to speak to a live person. It would be nice if the letters of the claim explained what the claim was for (physical therapy , surgery etc), making it easier to understand what that were working on , instead of guessing what it was being processed as many claims were sent from vet.

We LOVE Nationwide!
We decided to get Nationwide for our pet because it was recommended to us by our vet. We figured it was worth a shot. We are SO glad we took that chance. We have had Nationwide for almost 4 years now and we could not be happier! They cover exactly what they say they will cover and the process of submitting a claim could not be easier. We highly recommend them!

very happy with what I know about the coverage but i am unclear about what is/isn't covered and can't find that information
Submitting a claim is easy! I can't find the email address to submit a claim to though. Also, having trouble difficulty navigating website to find what exactly is covered by my insurance but I do remember when signing up being pleased with this plan over competitors. Overall happy with this insurance.

Love the care I receive, the time line is inconvenient
Everyone who I speak to is knowledgeable and caring, they ask about Jax and really show compassion. Your customer service team is incredible! The only thing that has been a cause of frustration is the timeline to receive a payment for a claim, Jax is going through diagnostic steps right now (fingers crossed it will help!) So there have been an increase in expenses, some have been paid out but others required medical history review so could take up to 60 days, which with mounting vet costs isn't very convenient. I understand the process takes time but if you were able to improve the timeline I would be thrilled!

I love Trupanion
I love this company. My vet recommended Trupanion when I adopted my cat and I have never looked back. The rates are reasonable and fair and entirely transparent. I always know where I stand. The claims process is easy and very quick. Everything is explained clearly. Whenever I have had to contact a representative, I have been pleased at their kindness and competence. They even thank me for taking good care of my cat. How's that for class?
