Peace of mind

Having pet insurance gives me peace of mind. I pray my dogs will never have any major problems, however, I sleep easier knowing that Nationwide will be there for me. I believe Nationwide has been fair with all of my claims.

Great coverage and customer service gives us peace of mind!

Our little guy is a high maintenance pup, so we are so grateful that Nationwide offers a plan that will reimburse us for even the most basic vet expenses! The ability to email claims is incredibly convenient and easy. We love the peace of mind we get from using Nationwide!

Horrible Customer Service

I have been with Nationwide since 1998 over the lives of 3 Dobermans. Until the last 2 years I had been very happy with this company. However, there has been an incredibly sharp decline in their handling of claims and customer concerns over the last 2 years. I submit claims electronically and they claim they never got them even though my computer shows that they did. I FAX claims, have a receipt from my machine showing the FAX was received and they claim they never got it. Claim processing used to take a maximum of 2 weeks and now it is over 30 days. If you call, the Customer Care reps give wrong info and wrong status reports on claims. I called just this a.m. and Vanessa's response to my question was "I don't know.". I will never insure another dog with Nationwide again.

I have never had a problem with reimbursement for services redered for my dog. Payment has always been prompt and on time.
