Good customer support and easy claim process
I was very happy with calling customer support and getting information about what is covered by the insurance. There is amazingly easy way to upload bills on website. Once this is done healthy paws do the rest.

I recommend your insurance company to many friends who do not know about having pet insurance! My experience with the company has always been very good. Filing a claim in easy, tracking it online is helpful too. With unexpected vet bills, it gives me great peace of mind having pet insurance for my Lucy!

Parent, Pet, Vet, Nationwide... A partnership!
Our dog needed an operation. Our Vet provided a treatment plan, Nationwide reviewed it and assured me that they will do everything they can to ensure that the maximum amount of coverage would be applied accross all related visits and procedures to this case. Filing each claim was a snap using the Vitus Vet app and I received the related reimbursements within the promised time period. I have six dogs, each is covered by Nationwide Pet insurance. We are very happy about that, and so is our pack!

Insurance made easy
I am so used to insurance claims and responses being convoluted and difficult to follow but that is not the case with Nationwide! Submitting a claim is so easy. Print out the claim form, fill it out and email a picture of the form. Explanation of benefits is easy to understand and my favorite part is that they don't send you a paper check in the mail! All electronic.

Thank goodness for Nationwide!
My little tasmanian devil, Baguette, was playing and ended up rolling over the top of her ball and landed on her neck and shoulder resulting in a pulled muscle in her neck and back. On the same day I found her chewing on some plants that made her sick. As any overprotective mom would do, I rushed her to the vet. We got the plant issue under control, but her neck and back needed a little more help - acupuncture and cold laser therapy. Thank goodness we have Baguette covered with the Whole Pet Plan, Nationwide covered her treatments and she isback to being a normal pup. I paid the nearly $1k in vet bills to get her fixed up, filed the claim with Nationwide, and had reimbursement before the credit card bill was due - THAT is exceptional service!! Thank you for giving me peace of mind with my little girl.
