Extremely positive experience

My kitty was diagnosed with diabetes and pancreatitis a few weeks ago. She was experiencing some complications and we needed to go to the vet a few times. She even required a hospitalization at an emergency clinic for a couple days to help stabilize her and really figure out everything that was going on. I had peace of mind knowing I had Pets Best insurance for her as the bills stacked up. The claims process was incredibly easy. I was given a time frame for when to expect the claim to be processed. The explanation of benefits was very clear and easy to understand what exactly went toward our deductible, what was covered and paid for, and what was not covered. Everything in the claim was itemized based on our itemized receipts from the vet, so I could see exactly where all the numbers came from. We didn't have any surprises there and the claim was processed quickly. We received our reimbursement shortly after the claim was processed. I've had an extremely positive experience and I've been urging friends and family members to get insurance for their pets through Pets Best if they don't already have it!

I love Nationwide!!

Easy to use online claims . receive Direct deposits on claims. I have nationwide for 4 years and never had an issue with any of my dogs claims. The only drawback is it does take about 30 days to get your money from Nationwide, wish this process was quicker.

Worth Every Penny!

Our young dog suddenly developed some stomach issues and ultimately needed the care of an internal medicine specialist. I am so thankful that we had our coverage for him through Healthy Paws. It really made a difference to only have to worry about him getting the best care, and not how we were going to pay for it! Our claims were handled quickly with no problems. Thank you, Healthy Paws! I recommend you to all of my friends who have pets.

Plenty of coverage and easy to use

I am very pleased with this company. The people are so nice, and seem genuinely concerned about your pet. The price is comparable to others, but I think the coverage is very good. The claim process is SO easy. You can do it all online if you like. There are many options too depending on what you want to spend. Overall, I am very glad that I have this. So far, I have used this for doctors exams and follow up, and meds. But we have a surgery scheduled now. And I feel like this is one thing I won’t have to worry about.

This is the most helpful insurance ever!

Our Boston was diagnosed with diabetes one year ago. His journey towards regulated glucose and good health has been deeply emotional and scary at times. Trupanion has lifted the burden of difficulty and we are immensely grateful for it. Claims are settled at the vet’s office for most procedures and specialist claims take a little bit longer but all of it is worth the wait. This is exceptionally good customer service. We are getting closer to a healthy, managed care for Warren’s diabetes and we could not be more pleased. Thank you!
